Cetaphil Acne Relief Body Wash, 2% Salicylic Acid, Exfoliating, 16.9oz

I have very sensitive skin and my salicylic acid breaks out my eczema, my dermatologist even said I should stay away from it. This was accidentally purchased. I intended to get another cetaphil body wash. However, this is now my favorite body wash, my skin us so much clearer and some of the eczema scars have faded after 3 bottles of this body wash. I haven't had a flare up from using it daily .It has a lotion consistency which was so weird to use at first because it doesnt lather but the results are superb 👌. I am definitely repurchasing.

This claims to be a body wash but idk how because I sure as heck don’t feel clean. It doesn’t lather. It says it gently exfoliates, but I don’t know how when you can’t even see the product when it’s on your body. I tried to use my net sponge with it, didn’t work. I used my hands, and I ended up using a ton of product. Waste of money.

I have very oily skin. For years I have struggled to feel clean after a shower or bath. I have had to take additional measures to exfoliate with mixed results. This product actually does the trick; and I am thrilled to have found it. I let it sit on my skin for about a minute after application and then rinse. I can immediately see the oil washing away. My skin feels refreshed and clean immediately after use (and it is gentle to the skin!). I highly recommend this product.

Doesn’t lather up so if you’re looking for suds this one’s a dud. lol

As the title of my review says, this is a gentle salicylic acid wash that is decent for the body and even face. It helps prevent breakouts but takes time to address body acne that is already there, it won’t work overnight but not many things will. The texture is creamy and it doesn’t lather at all. I like that it doesn’t dry my skin out cause of the added moisture but with that being said it’s difficult to wash off and I notice that I still have residue on my skin after the shower and I need to go back in and really scrub it. If you use a wash cloth or loofah then this will probably help.

There is no lather. In a shower setting, this feels like everything has slipped down the drain. The aroma reminded me of Clearsil circa 1990. A faint hint of an inobtrusive chemical. Neither offensive nor pleasant. Did it irritate my skin? Not at all. Did it clean my skin? To be honest, I felt the need to double cleans with a foaming cleanser. Is it effective? I think it's water soluble and just went down the drain. I suppose it is my own fault for associating the word "wash" with lather. I feel "cream cleanser" is a more appropriate title for this product. I will not repurchase.

Even at age 75 I still have greasy areas that are prone to clogged pores. My shoulders and my chest feel bumpy. My skin showed immediate improvement and I have not had irritation.
