Seems to work very well after one use but I’m unable to turn off the light which is helpful but blinding when changing tool bit plus it must be draining the battery. I might end up returning it as unable to get support.

Mini cordless rotary tool set arrived in a nice box, inside a bigger Amazon box, no damage. I own pretty much every Dremel they made and have yet to find one that is comfortable, powerful and portable. This mini rotary is as good and possibly better in certain ways. The light is mounted so that you can see everything at the tips end - some light up like a flood light and it washes out. You’ll say, I don’t need one, but then you buy one and will say, what took me so long! The light sets this apart from others due to the fact it doesn’t wash out what you’re looking at. Not too bright, just enough to make it easy to see. Turning the light on/off takes some getting used to…press the power button twice. The accessories included will last a long time, 64 pieces. Great gift! 10/10!

So far so good with this item, though a couple of niggles lose a star. The drill bits are not very sharp and blunted very quickly, and there are only three of them. I have ordered another set of mini bits so I'm hopeful that will help. The box doesn't close properly and this must have been known by the seller, as they provided an elastic band. Helpful I suppose but I would prefer a functional box. The other issue is having to frequently change collets when changing to different attachments, and it seems of the shaft size were standardised less collet changing would be required. Other than that, it charged well, lasts long enough (so far, I haven't had to recharge yet) and it's really helpful for my craft projects. So far I've drilled a few holes in various materials and used the different sanding tools for smoothing and shaping a small project in clay. It's powerful enough for my needs, not too loud and quite versatile.

I got this for fine detail work as it's easier to hold than my much larger Dremel (much though I love it.) It comes with a very good range of accessories, has 5 speeds and even an LED light. (Which is integrated into the body and is a lot better than the one on the Dremel!) Well made, light and easy to use -- but it's for small jobs, given its size and power. What I particularly like about it is that it has a range of collets than can take most small standard bits, right down to 0.5mm (most aren't standard and only go down to 0.8mm). I've used one of the diamond bits, which wasn't that good, but the rest of them seem fine. (Oh, and it will take any Dremel bit as well.) All in all, quite exceptional value for twenty quid. Highly recommended.

Great little kit works well but the light didn't work at first, then it came on and wouldn't go off ...returned as a safety concern!!
