Important Product for your Rack.
I used these with great effect to expand my rack mounted servers adaptability. These helped a great deal and were easy to install.

1U Rail Kit for R620 Almost a good fit but got it to work anyway
The reason for the odd headline is that when I received the R620 rail kit it almost fit, i.e. the 2nd button slots on the rails was in the wrong place but the other three button slots were perfectly aligned. Since the server is way past its warranty date I just used a pair of pliers and leveraged the button off of the server chassis. Viola, worked perfectly! Not sure why the 2nd button was different on the rail vs the case but in the end I overcame the problem!

Came in pieces and bent
One of the rails came broken into a number of pieces. I was able to get it back together, but it's clearly twisted. It still works, but it's a bit stiff when sliding in and out.

Did not work with my rack but it is a good quality rail
The tail only works with the traditional rack that has one row of rack holes on the front and back. Mine has two (one for the more traditional length and another set for shorter depth. The rail is not "short" enough for the shorter span and it hit the cage and causes it to bow out if install over it. Instead of cutting the cage to fit it, going to return it and get a more traditional rail for it. The rail does arrive in good packaging and Amazon makes it easy to return it.

It came bent - still works
Unit came bent. Still works after some percussive maintenance. Goes to show the quality of Dell parts but shame on the retailer for sending damanged goods.
