Tired
These are great tires but the valve stem broke on right front and when we took it off and went to tire store he said heβs never seen one do that beforeβ¦it just like it blew upβ¦could have been a faulty valve stem since tire could be fixed and they were tubless

White letters are peanut butter brown
After installing the new BFG T/A's 215/60R 15 on my car it sat in the garage for months and the letters turned peanut butter brown. I tried several known cleaners for white lettered tires with no luck at all. Thinking it may be an issue with the manufacturing of the tire I thought it might be the heat from molding. This led me to try a different approach. I got out the trusty bottle of Wesley's Bleach-white and wet sanded the letters with the cleaner and a folded piece of 320 grit D/A paper. The letters cleaned up to an acceptable white. They still are not as white as others I have had but 90% better than the peanut brown. Time will tell how they hold up. Well after about a week the letters are brown again and car hasn't left the shop. Guess I will have them remounted and balanced and run blackwall. Very disappointed and won't buy again.
