I bought this for my daughter (6 years old) who is taking Yoga after school. She has a standard kids-sized yoga mat, which this bag says it will fit (I double checked the width measurements). It does it, sort of. With squishing and bending I can get the mat into the bag, but it's a very tight fit and my daughter can't get it in or out on her own. That being said, it is a beautiful bag and seems very well made, I just REALLY wish it was 1 inch longer :( She wouldn't let me return it she loved the look of it so much. I'm just hoping it might stretch a little with time.

My daughter loooves this but we have to cram her yoga mat in there and it is a children’s yoga mat . It is just a little short . I’m not sure if it the bag or the mat. It is made well and cute though

Cute bag, quality material. Unfortunately it does not fit very well for a standard yoga mat, extremely tight fit to the point that the mat has to be bent a little in order to fit in the bag. This should not be advertised to work for Kids or Women yoga mats. Should be noted as kids mats only!

I ordered this bag for my daughter who is just getting into yoga. She LOVES everything sparkly and was so excited when I showed her this bag. She loves using it and can easily get her yoga mat in and out, and also likes that her friends have given her compliments on her new bag.
