Tacky Goes to Camp (Tacky the Penguin)

All the Tacky the Penguin books are awesome, I'd not read this story (?!?). Y my only complaint is with Amazon. They need to be more proactive towards mail delivery of their buyer's purchases and provide buyers with a way to share issues. Yesterday a book was left almost in the driveway, under s shrub, 20-25 away from the door. Today the delivery, this Tacky book, was bent inside a mailbox 1/2 the width. The book is half rolled and will not straighten flat!

It is in a cute series featuring the same clumsy a-little-outside-the-club penguin who finds a way to make himself useful in the midst of his bumblings. If your kids like seeing the same character in a variety of situations, start their Tacky collection and add this book to their library.

The Tacky books are so fun. My grandkids love Tacky. Always a great lesson in the story.

The media could not be loaded.  My kids love the Tacky the Penguin books. My son asked if we could get Tacky Goes to Camp, so I ordered it.The cover on the book we received is Tacky Goes to Camp, but the story inside is actually Tackylocks and the Three Bears.After seeing that I checked the reviews and sure enough; several people posted reviews saying the same thing. I suppose it's my fault for not reading the reviews first. My kids like the story and they think it's hilarious that it has the wrong cover on it so we have decided to keep it. I will try to get an actual copy of Tacky Goes to Camp later.I feel badly about the two star rating because Tackylocks is a good story and we did want to get it at some point... it's just that it's not Tacky Goes to Camp inside the cover.

My niece is a teacher in Arkansas. Her 1st grade class is sorely lacking in enjoyable books for afternoon reading. I purchased every 'Tacky' title available on Amazon and sent them down to her. I figured penguins in Arkansas would be a novelty for the kids, and they LOVED it!!The 1st graders love Tacky and his crazy adventures; he's always faced w a perplexing problem, but seems to make the right (sometimes tough) choice to solve it. Good lessons for children!

We read this before our boys went to their own camp. It was a fun adventure and a little lesson on what not to do sometimes (no playing tippy canoe). We enjoy Tacky's stories.

A great Tacky book and so like Tacky getting himself stuck in the s’mores. My kids and myself just laughed and laughed.

Who knew reviews could be so important. I was excited to read Tacky goes to Camp and dismayed to find it was Tackylocks. Why haven't they done anything to correct this problem. Instead they just keep sending it out. I want to order a different one but I'm afraid the same thing will happen. It makes reviews more important than ever.

I know I'm not the only one to write this, but long story short the cover is correct but inside is wrong. I ordered twice thinking first time was just an error but had this issue to times. Luckily was able to return and get a refund.

Ordered more tacky books for myClass this one came, the cover was correct however the inside was a completely different book. Returned for refund

These books are always instant favorites with the kids. This one is as uproariously funny and entertaining as the others in the series.
