I already enjoyed the standard layout gloves, and these were definitely a step up in quality and feel! The wrist strap is a little less pronounced, which was nice during summer and to make them feel less bulky, and the grip felt very consistent at any level of wetness. My first pair had the rip in the palm (known early batch manufacturing defect) happen fairly early on, but it’s not affected anything with the actual usage of the gloves, and after contacting their support they were kind enough to send out an updated replacement pair (that I haven’t tried yet). Highly recommend the gloves, and we absolutely should be supporting companies who stand behind their products like this!

Update: received a replacement pair free of charge from Layout. Absolutely fantastic. 1st batch had a huge problem with tearing. These new ones are great and have no tears. I really like these gloves but with normal use they seem to have three stress points where they year between the thumb and index as well as either side of the middle finger in either glove. As opposed to the other reviews I didn’t need to layout for the tears to form. I’ve reached out to Layout who have a generous 90 day regular use return policy with a picture and proof of purchase to see if they have any feedback. I will say the gloves have a tad bit more grip compared to mint cutter v4s but they still work well for handling. Something about the middle finger on the glove feels off as it sometimes twists itself a bit too far which results in a larger surface area where the grip material is applied. If these were just a dud pair I’d say they definitely were a good value and worked really well. I’d be curious if they could make the Velcro wrist collar narrower.

I was skeptical at first since I have tried other gloves that didn't work for me, but my first round wearing these I threw a personal best at my local disc golf course. I was having problems with getting blisters from throwing power shots, and these have helped resolve that issue. Gloves work as advertised and is the next best thing to playing bare handed.

I've gone through three pairs of these gloves in slightly under one year. The grip material is great, but it tears very easily. It tends to tear first at the spot on my middle finger where a flick throw leaves my hand. Soon after that the tears appear between the palm and fingers. I like the gloves but I can't justify replacing them so frequently, so I'm going to try out some other gloves that hopefully last longer.

I'm not a great disc golfer. My throws often slipped, especially in humidity or when sweaty, messing up my forehands and distance. The Layout Elite gloves changed that. They add so much extra grip and tackiness that the disc just sticks better without feeling glued. No more wiping the disc constantly, even in muggy or light rain. The seamless forehand finger feels natural, and they're lightweight and comfy enough to wear all round. They don't feel cheap either. For an average player like me, this extra control has boosted confidence and cleaned up my releases. Totally worth it! Highly recommend if grip holds you back!

Decided to try these out to prevent further injury to my hands from throwing. Key things to note it does add extra grip and I had to readjust throwing with the glove than without but it's an absolute game changer once you get used to it Hit first ace shot with them on! I was loving the gloves (they have great grip for throwing control) until I dove playing ultimate and both palms tore the first time they touched the ground. I purchased this based on the promise of durability layout offers and was incredibly disappointed. They didn’t even last a full month before starting to rip.

These gloves have been amazing. There very comfortable on the hand and helps protect the hand well. Along with me being a disc golfer it has helped me throw much better. There very durable unlike some other gloves I have used. I'd definitely recommend to any disc golfer who uses a glove for throwing.

Long time Discgolf player. I’ve used different pairs of gloves from Amazon and even an old golf glove. They either rip, don’t fit my hands well, or have little to no grip / stick. The quality, feel, and fit of the layout gloves are the best I’ve had on. Very happy with my purchase!

Love layout gloves and once again happy with my order! Brought them to indoor last night and immediately felt like I had more command over the disc, both catching and throwing. These are my go to frisbee gloves.
