Sturdy tool and much easier to use that my large 4-sided grater. While it only has the one size, it works great. Dishwasher safe. I use it all the time. I have not tried it on anything bur block cheese, but as sturdy as it is, I figure it could work on raw potatoes and carrots as well.

My kid is obsessed with eating shredded cheese. This is such an easy way to shred a little cheese for her. I love how quick and easy the cleanup is and how compact this is to store.

It's a simple tool that does one thing, but I have to say: it does it well! Easy to use and clean and easy to get what you're grating where you want it. I suppose that last point is why I like this tool so much. More cheese, please!

Very Well Built Grater. Perfect for hard cheeses, ginger root and many vegetables. Used frequently, almost daily.*** Just wish it had a small loop on the handle end for hanging flat against kitchen wall or pot rack vs digging through a kitchen drawer. It's very sharp, sturdy and a professional feeling kitchen tool. Highly recommend buying this tool.

Overall, I like this grater. Easy to use and clean. Quickly accessible and easier to control where the cheese lands on your culinary delight, as opposed to a box grater. The one draw back is it feels a bit too flexible. While grating, I need to be sure not to put too much pressure on it for concern of bending it, if not snapping it. This grater looks to be two pieces, which may act to weaken the product a bit. But, so far, all is good.

This works as advertised and is exactly what I was looking for. I use it for small batches of grated cheese and it is easy to clean.
