Simply, the only insulation is in the flaps. The rest of the hat is a standard ball cap. Maybe winter in L.A., eh? EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I purchased this hat as a Christmas gift for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. He said it it very comfortable and keeps him warm. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, warm and stylish winter hat.

This hat is great for the slightly bigger head, because of its taller shape.
