This bike rack exceeded my expectations. It feels very sturdy and well-built, even when carrying a heavier e-bike. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take long, and once it’s mounted, it stays secure with minimal movement while driving. What I really like is the stability—it holds the bike firmly in place without wobbling. The design is also versatile and works well with different bike styles, including fat tire bikes. The fit on my hitch was perfect, and everything lined up easily. Overall, great quality for the price. Reliable, easy to use, and gives peace of mind on the road.

This bike rack is lightweight and a nice design overall, but there are some deficiencies to point out. 1) the screw in bolt to attach the unit to the receiver was stripped. I simply removed the four screws holding the threaded portion and went forward using a normal shank with cotter pin. 2) The two locking mechanisms to extend or retract the wheel mounts do no hold them in place no matter how tight you make the gripper. So I drilled a 7/16" hole through both and installed bolts, once the distance was determined, 45" in my case. 3) The upright pole to hold the bike crossbar, the locking mechanism is cheap and unreliable. I located where it holds the bike, drilled a 7/16" hole through the whole thing and put in a 1/4" latch pin. The unit is now sturdy and reliable...and weighs only 15 lbs. For longer trips I also add some tie down straps for insurance, but not for shorter trips of 5 to 10 miles.

Great mount, excellent prices vs capabilities. Others are just overpriced and complicated to use. I left those heavy ones and only use this in recent few trips.

TIE DOWNS BROKE (THE METAL PIECES) ALSO IT'S EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO GET THE EBIKE OFF THE TRAILER!

Sturdy rack but the clamps that are supposed to hold the wheel supports in place don’t tighten enough to keep the supports from moving around. I tried tightening the handles but even when they were so tight that I could hardly get them to close, still slipped. I ended up setting the supports where they were needed for my bike and drilling and threading a 1/4 inch hole through the assembly and bolting them in place. That worked, very sturdy now. The lock on the receiver pin is very hard to figure out, no instructions so much trial and error to get it to work. Turns out that you don’t turn the key after installing it, you hold the key still and turn the lock . I know that doesn’t make sense, but try it and then you will understand. Other reviewers have had trouble with this lock but once you figure it out, its okay.

Easy to assemble, got my ebike to the shop for repair, doesn't take up much room in the garage.

Like one person said it’s wobbly on back, plus lock doesn’t seem to work

Much lighter than other racks that can hold ebikes. Very solid and sturdy. I was concerned when I bought it because there were no reviews at the time. But it looked exactly what I wanted on paper. So I bought it, and it is as good as I hoped
