Love the lavender soaps Z they help deter mosquitoes. This particular brand doesn’t put coconut or coconut byproducts in it. My child is allergic to all coconut! Shampoo has been the hardest thing to find for her. Love this. Please don’t change ingredients

I'm loving this soap. Full disclosure: I don't have allergies or skin sensitivities. I'm just picky! This soap is the perfect size for my hand, a bit smaller than a standard bar but much larger than a mini soap. The lavender scent is so nice and stays on my skin afterward as a subtle reminder (for a few hours!). The fragrance lingers but is not at all overwhelming. I'm not using the pouch because I think moisture would get trapped and use up the soap quickly. In my hands, the bar makes a nice lather. I'm not sure about the moisturizing claim. I don't typically use glycerin soap in the shower. This one leaves my skin superbly clean but not dry. At the same time, my skin doesn't get too dry outside of the depths of winter, so whatever this soap is doing to my skin is working just fine. Again, the scent afterward is quite dreamy. My order shipped quickly. The 5 bars are individually wrapped and packed with the mesh pouch in a simple box that could easily be wrapped for gift-giving. I imagine that this would make a thoughtful housewarming gift. At the current price of roughly $3.20/bar, I'm definitely satisfied with the value for premium soap.

I picked up this five-pack for the guest bathroom when we had some people coming in from out of town. I figured since it was a guest situation, I should go with a classic scent and something with mild ingredients. Lavender is a good choice for that. The bars are smaller than typical, and each one comes individually wrapped. That works out pretty well for visitors. It also gave off a kind of boutique hotel vibe, which was a fun little flair for our guests. The lavender scent is pretty strong, even before you open the paper. It smells like soap is supposed to smell. The bars themselves are a dark purple color. It lathers fairly well, and the scent doesn't really stick to your skin. It washes away completely as soon as you rinse. The bar will turn to goop if it sits in standing water, so you have to keep it dry when not in use. The goop transformation felt more abrupt with this soap than it does from bigger brands. Just use a slatted soap dish. As far as how it works, it cleans as you'd expect. It rinses off without leaving any kind of film behind, and it gives you that "squeaky" clean feeling on your skin. It’s also decent at cutting through grease if you’re washing your hands after eating or something. It’s basic soap that does the job for a guest bathroom, even if it gets a bit soft if it stays wet. Five out of five stars. I have no complaints that deserve knocking the rating at all.

LOVE! I wasn’t sure if I was going to love this particular Castile soap in a lavender scent. But in this brand the lavender is not highly scented. So I don’t come out of the shower smelling like lavender. It’s just like a nice shower experience. It lathers wonderfully. I love the bag that it comes with. You can use it in the bag and it will gently exfoliate your skin and suds up very well. You don’t even need a shaving cream with the soap when shaving. I also use Castile soap to clean my makeup brushes so that will be next on my list. I will continue to rep purchase this as it’s amazing. It leaves the skin feeling very clean without overly dry drying! The bag is not the best quality, but I have some that I ordered from Amazon that will last longer because I love this way of using bar soap!

I've had difficulty finding plain lavender soap. I mostly find soaps that are lavender mixed with some other scent so I was excited to try these. They arrive in a brown kraft style paper box and include a mesh wash/scrub net. Each bar is individually wrapped and labeled. Even wrapped in plastic, I could smell the lavender before I opened the box and it smelled lovely! They are a good size. Similar to other artisan soaps...just a little smaller than a mass manufactured brand bars. The color is a gorgeous deep purple. First use went great! I used the included scrub bag and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of lather! Scent was relaxing in the shower and soap left no color or film residue after rinsing. My favorite thing was how well this soap removed my eye makeup. Not a trace of makeup left! My skin didn't feel dry at all after using. After my first use I laid the bar in the bag on my shower ledge and noticed it was a little gooey on the bottom the next time I got in. I've started hanging the bag so it can dry better and that stopped the gooeyness. Not a problem, just mentioning it to suggest readers either hang it or use a well draining soap dish. Overall I'm pleased with these soaps. They make a nice gift set all together or you could buy them and gift individual bars in like spa themed gift bags.

I picked up the lavender version and was a bit unsure at first, but the scent turned out really nice. It's light and clean, not too strong or “perfume-like,” and does not linger long which I prefer. The soap lathers really well, especially if you use the included foaming net. It builds up a rich foam pretty quickly, so I'd definitely recommend using it that way. Makes the whole experience feel a bit nicer and helps the bar last longer too. After using it daily for about two weeks, my skin still feels soft and not dried out. That's usually my biggest issue with bar soaps, but this one keeps things balanced. Cleans well without that tight feeling afterward. The bars also last longer than I expected. I haven't even gone through half of one yet using it daily, so getting 5 bars for $15 feels like solid value. I also checked into the ingredients a bit, and most of them are natural and pretty straightforward. That gave me some peace of mind using it every day.
