L Bracket for Nikon D850 Camera, CNC Vertical Shoot L Plate Arca/RRS Compatible (LP-D850)

Installed on my new Nikon D850. Fit perfectly and feels as sturdy as my Really Right Stuff bracket ive used for years on my old D700. The only down side would be the mounting screw used to attched the bracket to the camera. It appears to be made of soft material as the hex slot is already deteriorating after the first install and tightening. Not sure it will last another torque process with the hex tool.

DOES NOT FIT a Nikon D850. DO NOT PURCHASE. The attachment for screw is not properly aligned for a D850 body. See photo. There are obvious issues with multiple designs, because some customers say it fits perfectly, whereas some state it will not fit at all. If you purchase this bracket… there is a risk that it will not fit. Again… see the photo.

The product arrived on time as promised but upon opening, I discovered that the screw for attachment to the camera as well as the allen wrench were missing. Also, there was no little printed instruction blurb (not that any is supposed to be included or really needed) that is commonly included in these products. The box itself also did not have a seal which is typical for quality control. The QA person definitely fell asleep on the job for this unit.Anyhoo, this unit is headed to a return locker today and Amazon is supposed to send a replacement tomorrow (thumbs up to Amazon for excellent customer service by slating the delivery immediately for a Sunday).As for the product itself, it looks well machined and finished. However, as I couldn't attach it to my camera, I can't yet assess how well it fits. It looks like a solid product though for something that costs 1/3 the price of that 'other well known' brand that makes a 1 piece L-bracket.Will update after receiving the replacement.***UPDATE***Received all parts in the replacement. The photo shows the small plastic bag containing the wrenches and screws missing the first time around.The bracket itself seems to fit and work very well at first trial. For a product that is cheapest amongst it's competitors it definitely is highly recommended and rates a full 5 stars.However, I've only bumped it up 1 star from 3 to 4 stars because of the unsealed packaging that allows for parts to slip out.

All else being said, you can do better in this price range. Cant say for sure that I wasn't casted and not machined.

Great for the price and well made. I’m happy with it. Helps me put the camera in portrait orientation so I can shoot panoramas with my tripod.

I got this L-Bracket for my new Nikon d850. It is high quality and just as sturdy as L-Brackets I have previously purchased from better known companies for 3 times the cost of this one. It is an outstanding value and I am confident that it will last many years.

The 1/4 - 20 screw for attaching the bracket was too short to screw into the camera. It looks fine in the picture, but that is not the screw they sent. Probably just a mistake assembling my copy, but I had to return it.
