This appeared to be a quality rebuilt carburetor. It worked out of the box. I do need to have the automatic choke fine tuned but for the most part it worked a expected and described. It came on time and very well packaged.

Item was inferior. Mechanic said it had sat on the shelf too long and had dried out. Disappointed totally.

IT DID MEET MY EXPECTATIONS!

So I did not get my hopes up. I have bought reman carbs from the part stores before and had to exchange them until I got a decent one. I do rebuild these but I simply ran out of rebuildable cores without spending a fortune on them. I gave away all of my quad parts about 5 years ago and even wrecking yards wanted $50 to $75 for carbs that looked like they were dug up out of a pit. The carb was super clean and I could not even detect a hint of dirt or corrosion. The electric choke was brand new and so was the choke pull off. Most importantly the throttle shafts had been drilled out with bushings installed. This is the main problem with quads as well as warping. All of the screws were new. It was packed very securely and even though the fed-ex guy placed it on my doorstep upside down it still fired right up! All I had to do was adjust the idle mixture screws and it was good! The choke was perfect as well as the idle. For the money I spent this is a quality part that does exactly what I had hoped. Would have given 5 stars but it was not Prime eligible and I had to pay the shipping. I recommend this product and this rebuilder obviously knows what they are doing.
