I'm glad I found these. I have round doorknobs on my garage door, and it's hard to turn the knob while my arms are full of groceries. I was going to have the doorknobs replaced with French-style knobs but first decided to give these a try. I can open the door with my elbow or with a single free finger. These knob grips hold the knobs firmly and I've never had to remove and re-seat them (I've had them since September 2018). And, yes, they glow in the dark, but I wouldn't say they're super bright, nor does the glow last for long. They must be exposed to sunlight or a strong artificial light for a period to reflect light. While this isn't the most attractive fix to one of life's little annoyances, it's certainly the easiest to install, and these doorknob grips work well. And since I have them installed on the garage door, function is far more important than appearance. The only negative I'd note is that, over time, the inserts inside the grips tend to work their way out. I have to push them back into the knob from time to time. But that's a minor detail. Overall, these work well and have saved me the expense of replacing my doorknobs. I recommend them.

Installed a set of these and was very happy. Unfortunately I've discovered the plastic pieces will work their way out of the handle. Threw one out before I realized what it was. That said, I ordered another set and now know that I have to check the plastic pieces as they work their way out.....Just check them occasionally and push the piece back in.

I'm impressed. Took them out of the box, wet them per instructions, installed them on a door. A handle that's been giving me grief. I put them on last night. Now here's some of my reasoning. I thought about changing out the door handles, but that can be pricey. I thought okay, I'm going to try these. It's only been 24 hrs. and the door is so much easier to open and close : ) I do suggest that periodically you clean them. Even though they are considered antibacterial. They are a little sticky, because it's soft rubbery plastic and somewhat pliable. The idea is so helpful to folks that have any issues with gripping. Like myself : )

This is a great product for arthritic hands. It allows me to open a door without carrying a rubber glove around.

I put six of these to use in our home for someone with RA. The bottom line is that they do work on the couple of different types of doorknobs around our house, and they are a help for the person that needs them. Pro's: They work on various (but I suspect not all) shapes of doorknobs. Based upon our success, just follow the easy directions, look at the picture of the product on the box for extra help, and the grips will fit over the doorknobs. They are less expensive than some other solutions. They don't present a problem for doorknobs with locks. The grip, including the wings, really can help a person with arthritic hands turn doorknobs with less trouble. Con's: The inserts for the "wings" can back out with use. Check periodically to re-seat them. Those inserts are apparently glow-in-the-dark, but not very much, nor for very long. This was not a feature of interest to us, however. These grips work well enough that I am likely to buy more. They are not a pretty looking solution, but they have been quite helpful.

We bought these to protect one door from another door. We have a closet door that opens behind a bedroom door, and it had a big line across it where the bedroom door knob scraped over it repeatedly. I was looking for something to cover the doorknob to protect the closet door, and this works perfectly. We've repainted the closet door, and it's staying nice and white. The doors still bump, but it just bounces off and doesn't scrape it at all. It is nice to have something for our kids to use to open the door. The door is hard to open due to the frame being messed up, and this makes it easier for our kids to grip the knob and open it. It's nice, but ultimately not what I bought it for.

These doorknob grips are easy to install, even for hands that are no longer strong. We have them on both sides of every door in the house, and they have made a very positive difference. This is an inexpensive option to spending a lot of money and time over installing lever style door handles throughout the house.

I have one of these on each of the important doors - the ones you need to open in an emergency. They certainly make it easier to grib the doorknob when it isn't an emergency and I hope I never need to justify my choices. They will fit the standard doorknob but it is a lot easier if you can warm them up just a bit before you try to push them on, and you don't want them wet or too hot to handle - the hairdryer or fan heater for a few seconds does the job.

I can now open my doors! These don't look particularly attractive but after suffering the pain of rheumatoid arthritis I don't care. These work well.

These doorknob covers enable anyone with poor grip strength, or none at all, to open a door. You will need someone with healthy hands to install them, but once in place they will give you the ability to open and close doors again. Very pleased with product and price.
