Yes. This coffee roaster machine can stir the beans.

How much coffee beans can you roast at a time?

I roast between 1.160 and 1.280 lbs or green beans at a time. Depending on the roast (Lt, Med, Med/Drk or Dark) I end up with 1 lb of roasted beans. I roast 4-6 times a day 2 times per week. Write it all down, set a timer and you can walk away and come back when you need to monitor the process.

Is this a usa or european plug?

This is a 110 volt USA plug. It comes with a converter plug for others. Just FYI.. I found that if I roast more than 2 batches without cooling it and washing it out, it will burn the next batch.

A lot of these Amazon reviews complain that this roaster fails/"stops working" after less than a year. Do you think that's a good value?

Depending on how many pounds you are roasting per day, week, or month will dictate how fast this device fails. I have found that the 4 I own, are best suited for UNDER .75 pounds per roast.
