Easy to use, seems accurate, very sensitive, good looking. Good for general shop use. I have a basement workshop, and run a lot of different machine tools. I find it comforting to know the sound levels to protect myself and others . I now know which machines will bother people on the main level of the house, so I do not disturb them at certain hours of the night.

We needed this to check the A/C unit for a rental that received complaints and the reading came in just the same as what the "pro" measured. We needed to double check and we are happy with the meter.

Great decibel meter but calibration was off just a tad, good price and good quality otherwise. I would still recommend. Thank you!

Works well for the cost. Sometimes the microphone comes off. Update:at first it worked well but after a couple weeks the calibration was very off and there was no way to adjust it.

For the price you can't go wrong. This meter did everything you'd expect it to do, and it seems to be quiet well made.
