Awesome Series
I love all the "How the ? Got to the Museum" books. My 4 year old has asked to read the Sphinx book every day for months. He has parts memorized. All of these books are fantastic. Looking forward to more books by the author!

It's good and includes facts
It's good and includes facts. I was getting it for a 2nd grader who loves learning about space. We go to the museum quite often. Because of the way it is written, it reminds me of "The House that Jack Built". It repeats phrases, not bad, but I was wanting more of a straight-forwarded informational text.

As it zoomed toward the Earth...
I do so love books that present science to kids in an uber-fun way. From the eye-catching illustrations to the "more about meteors" facts at the end, this book is a winner. The "House That Jack Built" style will appeal to young elementary children and I consider it a bonus that the language lends itself to use in the English, as well as, science curriculum.

This is a wonderful book with quirky illustrations. we bought this after getting “How the Dinosaur Got to the Museum” by the same author (Jessie Hartland).

One of Our Favorites!
This is one of our 4 year old son's favorite books. He loves reading it cover to cover, then we go to our map wall and track the course of the meteorite from the asteroid belt to where it crashed in NY. We also have "How the Dinosaur Got to the Museum", and we love it, but this book is even better. I highly recommend this for kids who are interested in space and science.
