Wonderful Bible. My favorite study. The Charles Spurgeon study Bible doesn’t give commentary on each verse, but instead goes very in depth and deep on certain verses, as these study notes were taken from Mr. Spurgeon’s sermons. This Bible is for every true and faithful Christian. Would recommend John MacArthur’s study Bible as well as a companion to this Bible, as John MacArthur goes over almost every verse, just not as in depth. Thanks so much! God bless!

I bought the "Black Genuine Leather" version and it was very well made. I've owned several other 'premium' Holman bibles and this is by far the highest quality. This bible is printed in Korea (many other Holman Bibles are), has synthetic lining and quality stitching. Based on Holman standards, the paper is creamy and thick compared to other bibles they sell. It's not super thin like the Life Application Study Bibles (by Tyndale). Very little ghosting, if any. I want to guess the opaque paper is around the low 30 gsm range. I want to say this can withstand highlighters. I love the font style, how bold and black the letters are against the white paper. It's easy on the eyes. For me, it just lacks commentary (personal preference). There are many pages without study notes. In my opinion, this barely qualifies as a study bible. I'd call this a supplementary bible. If you're looking for more input from Charles, I'd look into Spurgeon's Sermons. If you're looking for a KJV Bible, you can't go wrong with this... and having Spurgeon study notes is an added bonus. This can easily be a carry bible, it's not bulky at all.

It has written sermons in this, which I love to read. This is a KJV version. Although I don't use it often, I have so many bible's. I look through it once in awhile.

The font type used is easy to read. The Bible is larger than a standard size but works great as a study Bible.

A beautiful Bible and a SAFE study Bible that gives the reader the true Word of God (Textus Receptus "the Received Text") and the timeless expository teachings from Charles Hadden Spurgeon, regarded as "The Prince of Preachers". Knowing and diligent study of God's Word is the most important duty a person must do to truly know the True and Living God and Jesus Christ who was and is the Word of God incarnate (John 1). You could not.ask for a better Bible to rely on.

This bible is really nice. I love. the soft leather and the black and red page markers. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a King James bible. Also the shipping was quick and I received it one day earlier than estimated. I couldn't be happier.

I am very happy with this Bible. I was hesitant because I like words of God in red but this is so worth it. I enjoy the insights from Spurgeon and it is done respectably as separate from the Bible just like you were having a conversation or listening to his insights. Bible is well made nice size just wonderful. I did a lot of research before I chose this kjv version of this bible with leather and smythe binding. I expect it to last me my lifetime. The box it comes in is nice too.

I have the CSB version as well, bought the KJV for a friend, the leather was better than expected.

Paper is of high quality and nice for putting notes on. The extra 'spurgeon' notes are helpful. The bible is a beautiful addition and made an ideal 18th birthday gift.
