Your mounting may be different
I bought this for my 2005 F-350 Superduty. The first photo shows my grill with the old emblem above and the new emblem below. My old emblem had one nut in the middle and two flat barbs at the sides. When I tried to mount the new emblem with the three pins, the emblem was about a 1/4 inch too low. So, I cut off the three pins, cleaned the area on the grill and stuck it on with the green adhesive on back of the new emblem. Hopefully, it stays put for a long time. I saved the old, faded emblem, just in case.

NOT OEM, not even close
UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER: I am lowering my rating from 3 to 1 stars. In less than a year the red stripes have faded to yellow, not what a color you want on your national flag, and shows a lot of rock chips. Not worth the money nor the effort and time to install. ORIGINAL POST: This item looks nice but requires modification to the grille of my 2006 Ford F250 Superduty to mount. There are three plastic pegs on the back of this replacement emblem approximately 3/16" diameter instead of one thread center peg and two heavier outboard locking tabs. None of the three pegs lined up with the original holes in the grille requiring new holes to be drilled. One of the three pegs broke during the mounting process. Basically the new emblem is being held on by the double sided adhesive tape. If it holds on and continues to look good, then mission accomplished but I wouldn't buy it again.

Cheap Chinese Crap
I put this on my 2006 Ford F250. Getting going the holes didn't line up but no big deal. Cut the misaligned peg off eazy peazy and it's stuck. 6 months later the Red in the flag is now a really light orange color, the blue is good but the "ord" in Ford is faded and ugly. So 6 months and the color is just about gone. Cheap Chinese Crap.

Last about a month, don’t waste you money
Bought this in December for my son for Xmas and a little over a month after it was installed it faded and turned white. The one for the front did the same thing but made it 2 months.

Already got some compliments on it
Looks like something Ford would have put out, good quality. The adhesive that other people have had issues with I think is plenty strong so far. I would bet that the surface isn't being cleaned properly before installing the new badge. I cleaned my tailgate with rubbing alcohol and actually left the stock rubbery stuff since it was not coming off without a fight. Since I can drop the tailgate I installed mine and then opened up the tailgate and rested a towel on a small step ladder to push on the badge with the weight of the tailgate. Left it there for 24 hours and it seems to be stuck really well.

Looks great at first,4 months in product has faded.
Looks awesome on the front of my pick up! Been through the car wash once so far and I’ve had it for a few weeks now. No problem. Still on and still looks great. I would recommend this based on my experience! 👍🏻👍🏻UPDATE!!!! Four months in and product has already faded. Still looks o k . But will be completely faded in no time I fear.

Awesome emblem on my awesome truck.***UPDATE***
I needed to replace the emblem on my tailgate of my 2011 F350. I didn’t want just the run-of-the-mill emblem because I have such an awesome truck. I wanted it to stand out a little. I am going to replace the front emblem also. It looks very good on my plain white truck.UPDATE:It is now September and I was looking at my awesome emblem just to be disappointed. It is now fading and the red is now a peachy pink. It must’ve been made in China because we seem to get a lot of crap from China. It was put on the truck in May. 4 months is all it lasted.

Looks great
Had to replace the front broken Ford Emblem so I decided to upgrade the look, there are 2 small bolts on the bake of the OEM that you will have to remove. I ended up just breaking off the plastic tabs of the OEM to get it off since the new only replaces everything. After the old one is off just using some GoGone and glass cleaner to clean up the area before placing the new one.
