3M High-Temperature Flue Tape (2 Packs)

I have a heated garage and like to do projects in the winter and this product makes me fell more secure that I do not have any leakage from my house furnace or hot water heater vents. Just a precaution.

I liked that it was easy to use. It fixed the leaking problem in the flue connections. Thank you.

I recently purchased two rolls of the 3M high temperature aluminum tape for the vent of my pellet stove. It has virtually no adhesive on it at all. Does not stick to the vent. It was already wrinkly in the roll just a total waste of money.3M needs to do much better with their quality control.

Works very nicely for sealing gaps between hot air ducts coming from my furnace. Stick well even if surface isn't perfectly clean. Easy to work with. You can't really go wrong with 3M. (I wish I could still find their version of Band-Aids...)

Used it to seal my chimney and it's still working after a few months, no more smoke in the house!!

Strange considering other reviews but my quick experience with this tape is poor. Am using it to seal the exhaust off inducer from an 80% efficient burner/boiler to aluminum flu pipe. It quickly peels off. So I added some more on top of the tape and it peeled off from tape! And this stuff is not cheaper either! Maybe a defective batch????

I'm using the flue tape on an increaser (5" to 6") directly off the back of the wood stove and this stuff holds up great! I'm really surprised how hot this tape gets and holds flawlessly. I would not recommend using the tape on any chimney that gets glowing hot. It's like very thick tin-foil with a sticky back, once its wrapped around a pipe it can be molded by smoothing it around contours and edges with your fingers to give a nice air tight wrap. Nice. Exceeded my expectations. It does not smoke or have any smell or fumes when it gets hot either - great.
