Rough Country 3.25" Lift Kit for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK | 2-Door - PERF693

After reading through the reviews associated with a few different companies, I decided to go with the Rough Country suspension lift. All of the positive things you see others posting are 100% accurate The ride quality was immediately better, and much better than stock. The directions were extremely easy to follow, and as long as you have all of the tools the install is pretty quick (about 6 hours by myself).

I bought this Rough Country 3.25 inch lift kit for a 2 door Jeep Wrangler JK because I wanted more clearance and a more aggressive look without going completely overboard. The extra height makes a noticeable difference in the stance of the Jeep and gives more room for larger tires. The kit feels solid, and once everything is installed correctly, the Jeep has a much more rugged appearance. Installation is definitely more involved than a simple bolt on accessory, so having the right tools and some suspension experience helps a lot. I also recommend getting the alignment checked afterward so everything is set up properly. The best part is how different the Jeep looks when the job is finished. Somehow adding a few inches of lift immediately makes you start looking at bigger tires and more upgrades you suddenly “need.” 😂 Overall, a solid lift kit and a great upgrade for a compatible 2 door Wrangler JK.

I thought this kit probably wasn't going to ride smooth due to the cost but I was wrong. It rides better than stock, and with 35 inch tires there is plenty of room to flex. The install took 5 hours or so along with a alignment, "had it installed by pro".

Great kit. Took me one day to install in the drive way, spent a lot of time removing bolts due to rust and mud/dirt. I suggest getting some very large jack stands. I had to cut off the stock shocks in the front and broke one of the bolts on the back shocks. Looks great once we finally got it done though. The rough country shocks ride as good if not better than stock, haven't taken it off road though. Instructions were pretty clear although basic and not very detailed for someone who had never done anything like this before. Overall I am happy with it.

Looks and drives good. No weird handling characteristics running on 35" tires. Not the easiest to install, but if you're an average mechanic with a basic set of handtools, you should be able to tackle it. No issues with fit. Going on a year with mixed on and minor off road use with no issues.

I’m a tech and I own the shop. This kit is great, but you 100% need an adjustable front trac bar the axle is not centered with the stock one you can see the front shocks are not the same distance from the frame and the springs look bent easy fix and RC sells the trac bar. Ride quality is very good soft not hard or stiff. Ride height is level no more leaning forward look. It’s the most height you can get without needing control arms brake lines and trac bars and possibly driveshafts. I would buy it again if I did another Jeep. Just get an adjustable trac bar so you do the work and get it aligned once.

Great kit for the money.

Looks great and contained everything listed. lift height was accurate and actually rides pretty well, handling on the other hand was a different story. I wish i would have researched a little more on my part as looking back i should have opted for the four inch lift that contains control arms and other suspension parts that i have gone back and added in. Doing this lift without adding control arms will make your two door JK border on downright scary to drive at anything over fifty. Do yourself a favor and do not cheap out on lifting your Jeep.

Il faut avoir une base en mécanique car les instructions ne sont pas clair et les deux pièces supplémentaires sont essentielles.
