St. Nicks Choice Swivel Straight Christmas Tree Stand

This Christmas Tree Stand is the cats meow! It works exactly as advertised. With your tree lying down, you take the enclosed "boot" and slide it over the trunk, screw it in, lift up the tree and set it in the stand, wait for it to settle down and click in place. To turn it, you just press the lever with your toes, turn it down into the base and listen for it to click in place...Just that simple. I got tired of the hassle of fresh trees and for the past several years I have gone through 3 rather expensive artificial trees trying to find the perfect one and ended up giving them away. I had decided to go back to a live tree. When I saw this stand in action I just had to have one. it arrived as scheduled I already recommend it to all my friends.

Bought this particular stand for both our sons & daughters-in-law for Christmas "housewarming" gift. We bought a similar stand over 20 years ago...and paid a lot more money for it...after many years of trying to get trees into stand and standing straight. It was a struggle every year with one of us trying to hold tree straight while the other tried to tighten 2-3 screws on trunk and have tree be straight. Constant adjusting, bickering and aggravation! This design is so ingenious and so simple to attach to trunk and then place in base and adjust within a minute. It really makes getting and putting up a tree truly enjoyable! We recommend this type of stand to everyone. Search around because prices vary widely.

This didn’t work as well as I heard it did. It may be because all the trees at the farm this year had relatively “skinny” trunks. It definitely doesn’t work as well with a thin trunked tree.

First year with a real tree aIn a long time and this worked great for our 10 foot v eh large tree — however we did have to trim the trunk to fit into the stand quite a bit

No longer stuck underneath the tree asking others if the tree is straight, its worth the money not to have the stress of the traditional tree stands

Good at first. But after a few seasons it got stuck at a slant that made it incredibly frustrating to use. Had to put props underneath to try and compensate. After this xmas got rid of it and am trying a new stand. .
