Whitmor 60-inch Extra-Wide Clothes Closet, 60” with White Cover

This portable, zip closet i've been using for almost 2 months has been a great experience. I have the Blue version. First off, i'd like to say how excellent the packaging was. The box itself was in excellent condition and the parts were neatly packaged inside. I initially bought this because i had a drawer in my open built-in closet in my room, and i wanted to put this portable closet elsewhere in my room, but then my room became super crowded so, i decided to remove my drawer from my built-in closet and place my portable closet in my built-in closet. I know that sounds kind of weird, but currently, my built-in closet has no door and i don't want to leave my clothes hanging out in the open. This portable closet is the perfect solution as it not only covers my clothes, but i can also arrange it if i have to. With my measurements, the closet measured to be, 63.5"x19.2"x35.2" The installation process was super easy. It took me about 30 minutes to install the closet. It would have taken me much less if i had inserted the closet sleeve at the right step (lol)---other than that, it was very simple. Plus, the instruction manual was nicely presented. Once the closet was installed, i was honestly surprised with the weight of it, I know the frame and sleeve is pretty light and i had no clothes in it, but i was still amazed with how easy it was to move the closet around. Right now, i have 41 active hangers stored in my closet and i still have plenty of space left for more. Most of it consist of standard t-shirts, a few jackets and a couple hoodies. The rest are a little of dress pants and dress shirts. Underneath my clothes, i have enough space to store my small laundry basket and laundry bag. I don't have a lot of long clothes. The longest clothing i have is a jacket that hangs about 15" from the rod. With that, i have no problems with it touching my laundry basket that sits underneath. I store miscellaneous items on top of this closet. The closet is sturdy enough for my items not to sink down too deep. The quality of this closet is amazing. The zippers (2) flow through really good. It feels smooth when zipping/unzipping and it doesn't get jammed. The window on the top that is a material of a mixture of plastic + rubber is great. It is not 100% transparent which is good for privacy. The sleeve of the closet holds up pretty well. I don't have any damages yet. Like i mention before, i have items laying on top of the closet, and it still keeps its quality. PROS: - Sturdy - Light (easy to move) - Can fit about 50 hangers - Has a lot of storage after clothes are stored - Quality is excellent CONS: - None I am glad that i decided to purchase this item. Since my built-in closet had no door, i was forced to have my clothes out in the open. That allowed my clothes to get dirty easy and smell more. Also, it made my room look messy. Now with this closet, I can finally store my clothes properly and have it protected. Even this is considered more of a smaller closet, I was satisfied with the quality and the portability. If you're a person who does a lot of different arrangements, or is constantly switching rooms, this closet is a good companion to your clothes. For a compact portable closet, this has been beyond my expectations.

Very light weight. Worked for storing our winter clothes in our rented shed. Seemed to be sturdy enough as it is as full as it can be.

Had a friend come to stay with me for a while meaning my guest room closet which is used to store my winter (or summer, depending on season) clothes needed to be cleared out. I looked at many models of portable closets looking for something I could put in the corner of my finished basement, load, zip shut and keep that way until seasons changed. I considered much more expensive models but decided to give this a shot. IT DOES THE JOB. It was easy to assemble (did it myself in 10 minutes and it is now holding perhaps 50 sweaters and shirts without any sign of strain. The bar is completely full and it didn't even try and topple over. The only thing I would recommend is a board to place on the bottom to hold it down (which I will add) as it isn't laying flat. Not effecting the clothes any but even a piece of extra plywood laid at the bottom would flatten that out and probably allow for shoe storage. (Would have gladly paid $5 more for them to include a plastic drop in.) Yes, as some have noted the "fabric" (more like a dark blue tyvec envelope) is thin but nothing is going to poke through it and you can't really see through so I don't see the harm. For this cheap price, it solved my problem quickly.

I bought this for a backup closet due to not having enough closet space in my tiny studio apartment. I have to admit that it's way better than I anticipated. The setting up was very easy, it took me less than twenty minutes for completed setup. The closet is firm, and surprisingly, it hold lot more than I image. I hanged alot of clothing mainly summer stuff, I also stored a organizer on top with comforter, two king size pillows, and a mattress cover. I also have few things in the bottom inside. Not sure how long it going to last but I think this is a great buy for a portable closet. I will advice don't over do it, and also make sure to lean it against some kind of object or a wall, this way, it stand still. Advice: don't put too much stuff in the bottom of closet, this will prevent the zipper from closing all the way. I have my closet over two weeks now and so far it's doing great, very firm, and no problem. Also the shipping was great, my package came within the next day from I order.. in was very pleased with that. Also the instructions for the setup was pretty good and easily comprehend. Hope this help. I will also give my future updates. Update there months: Wow very surprised... this closet still going strong, no problem whatsoever... It is around 75% sturdy, it mush sturdier if put in corner of a wall with bins or containers next to it. I also thing if it's not over crowded with clothing it will hold up extremely sturdy. I have alot of clothing in, bags in the bottom, and a Hugh organizing bag with comforters in it. It's pretty loaded and it still standing firm. Great buy for the price. Definitely recommend to a friend.

I followed the instructions to the t. The rods did not fit as expected even though I checked the labeling for each type. Some of them are loose. Some of them are too tight. And when I finally expanded the cloth covering and tried to stretch it over the rods, one side tore and the zipper detached from the edges. The cloth enclosure was way too tight and precise for this type of assembly. I immediately contacted the seller based on the instructions in the box and I got an automated reply saying they will not provide replacement parts. Now I have to salvage this somehow.

What can be so difficult about assembling a plastic frame then wrapping the synthetic cover over the frame? Lousy directions. This requires a sequence of assembly to correctly complete the task. First install the four corners posts in the bottom plastic strut. Then get two people and a ladder. One person climbs the ladder with the synthetic cover while the second person slides the corner posts into narrow slots at the bottom of the cover. But wait! Do not fully lower the synthetic cover! You must leave the top of the four corner posts exposed. You assemble the top strut and supports (and don't forget that center spring wire!). With your friend still on the ladder holding the cover, exposing the four corner posts, you then hammer the top structure onto the four corner posts. Now you pull down the synthetic cover over your completed frame. This part is a lot like trying to get a sweater over a four armed child. The cover will collapse on one side or another making it impossible to lower it on the other side. Once you have the cover fully in place you may snug the fit. I would advise that you practice swearing for this assembly process. The instructions provide adolscent guidance and you will be fooled at the obvious simplity of the thing. Metal tubes. Plastic struts. That center support doohickey. A synthetic box with a huge zipper. This is easy! Heh-heh-heh. The thing is sturdy and the cover is breathable and it should work fine. Assembly is nearly as complicated as a moon shot.

Easy assembly and exactly as advertised. Love the dimensions and the sturdiness of the closet. The cover is strong and the peek-a-boo windows in front top off the overall appearance. I am satisfied with this purchase.

Delicate Fabric Closet for your cloths. Easy to assemble. Please follow the instructions carefully to avoid tearing the plastic viewing area. Ideal for storing cloth than for daily use. Protects your blazers and shirts from dust. Do not expect to be heavy usage. Can hold 15 to 20 shirts. Bought it at INR 2249, may be slightly expensive. But it helps you free up your regular closet.

I know closet space in my house this was the perfect closet to put away my clothes fits a lot very sturdy and the fact that you can keep it from getting nothing makes it a bonus I would highly recommend this product assembling very easy

2 months have passed and no problems or anything. Got 20+ clothes hanging there too! Mom loves it
