As an enthusiast of precision shooting, I know the importance of having a stable and reliable platform, and this bipod delivers exactly that. Firstly, the build quality of the Magpul Bipod is top-notch. It feels robust and durable, capable of withstanding the rigors of regular use without showing signs of wear and tear. The materials used are high-grade, which reassures me that it can handle the weight of my precision rifle and the outdoor elements it’s often exposed to. The stability it provides is unmatched. Light and Efective
I bought the rifle sling mount version for my Ruger 10-22 a year and a half ago. I have used it for varmint removal and bench shooting. It's light easy to use and adjust. There have been zero problems with it and I am happy with the bipod.

Great value, but a bit of slop...
What I like: what draws me to this bipod is the Magpul brand, and the light weight. I have a 338 Lapua rifle that is plenty heavy and lightness is a huge plus. For reference, I had a Harris bipod on this rifle, and it was way too light weight and had a hard time holding the rifle from tilting. I also have an acushot Titan on another rifle. Construction quality is first class. Very well machined. The legs deploy easily. The lockout knob is large and easy to grip. Really sturdy. Holds my rifle without issues. What I don't like: There's only one leg position. Open or closed. The legs don't lock in the stow position. Can deploy accidentally. When locked open, there's a bit of slop. There's about an inch of forward and backward movement on the rifle. And just a bit of slop in the leg extension as well. And, no matter how hard I tighten the knob, there's still some possible pan and tilt. In other words, it doesn't completely lock down. Overall I think this is a good value. It's better than my Harris. But not nearly as good as my $320 Titans. Compared to lesser brands like UTG, I have a heavy duty UTG bipod that is 1/2 the price that is more sturdy. I'd go with the UTG if I did it again. Then again...its Magpul....I love the Magpul company.

Almost as good as a Harris.
This bipod is almost as good as a Harris and if counting a Picatinny to swivel stud adapter its 5 -6oz lighter than my Harris S 6-9" which is the main reason I bought it. The good. Its lightweight and 5-6oz on the end of your gun makes a difference, the legs deploy quickly and easily, the pan and tilt are adjusted on one large knurled nut, there is plenty of range of motion both pan and tilt, you can easily use the bipod legs panned to the side on walls/barricades, the legs adjust height easily, and the bipod takes a heavy forward load with no impression that you are straining it. The not so good. The legs are a little difficult to deploy in a smooth one handed operation, they open at an angle so you need to flatten out your hand and push and one of them likes to bind, I am sure practice will make it easier to do but its something I noticed. Folding the legs back up is also tricky using your left hand its super easy to fold the left leg but you have to contort your wrist to push the button on the right side to fold the leg. Again I am sure practice will make it easier but its something I noticed. The pan and tilt are a single adjustment that is in a sort of inconvenient place if you are used to the Harris system with a lever add on this is certainly an adjustment you will have to make. Maybe someone will make a lever that can be added to nut for this bipod. Also it seems no matter how tight you get that nut it won't lock out either adjustment and it seems to loosen once you start using it. So if you love the fact that you can set and lock your Harris that might be a deal breaker for you. Its not for me, with the nut very tight you can set the tilt and it will stay put, just not locked as solid as a Harris would be. There is a slight rattle to the bipod the fit between the polymer outer shell of the bipod and the metal inner legs is a tiny bit loose and it does make a very small amount of noise. Its nothing major, its not loud but it is there. Overall this bipod is good, it has good features, seems very well made, is strong, lightweight and durable. Its just not quite as good as a Harris for precision shooting since you cant easily lock the tilt/pan. I would recommend it but just know the limitations of the product.

Weekend Warrior? This is your bipod.
I’m just a novice shooting enthusiast and this is my first bipod, just for context with my review. I bought this for my mid-entry-level AR-15, M-LOK. I didn’t want to invest in an expensive bipod, as I am merely a weekend-warrior-enthusiast, not a soldier going to war. Despite the plastic components, the bipod is quite sturdy, plenty sturdy enough for my needs. The plastic keeps the weight down too. My AR-15 is heavy enough as it is! I struggled initially with the installation, until I watched some YT videos and learned you need to set the gap just right with the T-nuts and then the installation was a breeze. Overall I’m very happy with this bipod and it is performing perfectly for my needs.
