The Sony MC 6 DVD recorder works great - took me a couple tries to learn the proper sequence to finalize the disc - works great - look forward to years of making many DVD discsI run a cable from the output of my Sony MINI DV camera right to the input of the MC 6 then finalize the disc and add the disc to my library !Will copy or play on any copier or player ! No editing !

Great Purchase.
This device lets people record directly onto DVD. It's almost as simple as a VCR.Any device with RCA output can be directly connected to this recorder. Anything without RCA output needs an adapter to connect it. But with or without an adapter, if you can play it on the built-in screen the device will copy to DVD.

Didn't even come with a instruction manual tried to set up a dvd for recording like it said it needed on the screen and wouldn't let me even let me do that
