How is this blade in cutting fleece fabric (2 layers) for tie blankets?

Cuts very well thru 2 layers. Be sure and wipe blade off regularly as fuzz can bog it down.

Olfa cutters are powered by your hand pressure on the fabric (or other surface) you wish to cut. Slide the cutter protector back with your thumb and align the cutter on the line you wish to cut, then put pressure down and cut. Usually people align the line to be cut with an acrylic ruler or hard edge to keep the cutter going in a precise straight line while keeping all your fingers away from the cutter edge itself--the cutter is extremely sharp and can seriously injure fingers. Amazing. Use it with cutting mat only.

This is life savior..... I really wanted this product, but i was scared if it will be original or fake. But i ordered even though there were so many negative reviews. It is working so good... It cuts any fabric but you will definitely need cutting mat. It works magically with cutting mat . I am really happy with this product.

Quality issues

I bought this rotary cutter 3 months ago, and I’m disappointed with the quality. The blade rusted very quickly even though I stored it properly, and now it doesn’t cut smoothly at all. For the price, I expected a longer-lasting, reliable tool. Not worth it unless blade durability is improved. I got fooled by 4.6 star ratings I guess. Mostly scam.

The blade lost its sharpness in just 10 days.... and the material used for cutting was fabric only... not worth spending so much when the blade cant even last for 10 days..... think before you buy...
