I purchased this at the end of last year (2018) - I LOVE it! I actually have not one negative comment. My piano is in a niche so I need some good light, but do not have room for a lamp. This is the perfect solution!The 3 levels of brightness come in handy! Depending on the time of day I am playing I can switch to the level I need. The light is warm yet very bright at each level; it's not a harsh light whatsoever. My music is illuminated just right for my eyes.It is very lightweight and mobile. I keep it in a drawer, but it also fits inside my piano bench. The arm bends easily to accommodate your need in which to direct the light. It's rechargeable so very convenient and holds the charge for about 10 hours of use after I've charged it to full (which takes about 5 hours or so).I stand it on the top of my piano instead of using the clip. Even if it is bent all the way forward it does not topple. The clip would be convenient if you were using it as a book light to clamp to a headboard or other piece of furniture.This is very well designed and made! I can't say enough good! Buy it! :)

This is so much better than the other brands I’ve purchased. I believe this is the fourth one I have bought a various brands and by far this puts out the most light, has the best quality late for the piano, it is a very warm light not fluorescent color. It has a USB charger and three light settings. After many other purchases such as Kootek, this one finally Did everything I wanted for $19. I always use one of these above the piano and that is fine for all the keys with no other light in the room. I do like it darker than others like, but The light fills out the keys easily enough to play and I would not want it brighter for me.Update: after using this for a month I realize that the battery is not big enough and I dropped it from five stars to four stars. The battery is satisfactory but it really should be a little bit bigger because it needs to be recharged at least once every five or six .5 -1 hour uses. Still the best one I’ve bought though.

I received this product quickly and the packaging was very nice. The light itself had an excellent quality feel to it and looks great. It has a strong clip that keeps it squarely secure on the music stand. The base is also heavy enough to use it on my desk as a light when I study. I love that it has three lighting levels. The lowest level is very dim but really works in a very dark room. I also like that it is rechargeable. THE ONE BIG NEGATIVE: despite what the description says, a full charge will NOT give you 11 hours of use!!! To this point, a full charge has only produced about four hours of use on the brightest setting. I fully charged it, used it to practice and then used it during a church service while all the house lights were out... It. Went. Dead. Arg! I'm keeping it despite this flaw. I will order more while keeping in mind to charge them every day.

I bought this light two years ago and I love it. It still works fine. I am an occasional user, maybe a few hours a week at lower power to read sheet music. But I mostly play by ear or from memory. I do charge it overnight when I need to, which is every few months. For my purposes, the battery life is fine, but for those who are playing three hours a day and running it at full brightness could be disappointed to have to charge it a few times a week.

This light is perfect for on-stage performances and offers several liferent brightness levels. It is much more convenient than conventional music stand lights. It also has a row of led's that show its amount of charging. My only criticism is that there is no way to find out the amount of charge left unless you plug in the charger. This is not always possible, especially right before a performance. There should be a button you could press to find out the amount of charge left. Still, it is a great little light!

A good lamp for multi purpose use. Battery life is good.

I received a replacement unit to substitute for the first unit that was D.O.A. The replaced light works fine, charges, and has 3 very pleasant warm color light settings. I prefer the "warmer" yellow light that this unit produces, as I tend to prefer the music stand lighting that the old plug-in, clamp-on lights provided. One funny note about this light.... I am an Amateur radio operator, and on one particular occasion, I was keying up my handheld radio to answer someone and this light turned on! The ham radio club members got a chuckle out of that one. This is a fine light to carry with you for those outdoor concert venues that may or may not have a good backline with lighting, etc.

The warm (yellow hue) color would be good for reading but was not bright enough for reading music on a stand. Will be exchanging for a whiter one. Nice to finally see a rechargeable model.

Everything working as expected. Would be nice to get a charger with it.
