but nothing I couldn't find in a good beauty store
This review is not so much for the product (I bought it today and besides the buffer, I haven't used the other items) as it is for the questionable tactics used by their pushy sales people.I was handed a sample of some moisturizer. Taking it was probably the sign they look for. "Sucker!"The sales guy grabbed my hand and started polishing, asking me if I believed in magic. He buffered my index finger nail so hard it started to get real hot (burning sensation under my nail). Ok, so the 4-sided buffer works well, but nothing I couldn't find in a good beauty store. The pressure to buy started after that. He said the kit (it's 4 item, 2 of which are a nail buffer and a simple and plain nail file) was only $99 (WHAT?). After some back and forth, the price quickly dropped to $49. I told him I would walk around and think about it and thought it would be the end of it. I finally got it for $25 ($26.52 with taxes. Besides just walking away and ignoring him -- I have a hard being that rude -- I felt I had no choice but to buy.I don't know how those folks are trained, but "Not letting your customer go without a purchase no matter how obnoxious and persistent you have to be" is not one I care for.

Got it, like it!
I got this as a gift, and i really love it. My nails are still shining without nail polish more than a week after I did my manicure.I love the cuticle and hand cream as well.

Be careful....
I wish I had read these reviews prior to getting scammed. I was shopping in the Water Tower Place and a saleswoman stopped me and made my nail appear to be fresh and shiny. She told me that that they are running a special for $79 for one and you receive a free one. I told her what if I only want one and she began to whisper and say I can give it to you for $39. I thought OK I will try it out. I gave it 2 stars because it does actually work but I am sure I could have purchased similar products at a beauty salon.I went in to the Auntie Anne's and I asked the lady inside what she thought about the booth and she told me to go to Sally's Beauty Supply. I thought I just got scammed.Thank goodness I did not buy the eye cream for $299.They also told me they have been in the mall for nine years but when I contacted Water Tower Place they said they have been there for four years.

Really?
Product is ok. Nice presentation by the salesperson - however, I will agree with the others. They train their people to be extremely persistent. I can't believe Amazon is selling this set for under $35.00. I got suckered into $80 at Water Tower Place in Chicago. They had sales people on more than one floor. They started out high, then they come down. First they wanted you to buy 2 and get one free. They finally agreed to BOGO. Still paid too much. The buffer works and the cuticle oil is nice - but they are outrageously priced and too pushy. One more thing - all their salespeople have accents and are from different countries. Either they're faking the accents or the company thinks it impresses Americans.

Pressure selling for a poor product
I was collared by a salesman at a shopping mall who was selling Vine.Vera things. Usually I politely say no thank you and keep on walking as these things are more often than not, a con. However on this occasion the salesman was all up in my face, blocking my path and I was unable to get past, so I conceded and let him talk at me about this product. Where I would have normally thanked the man for his time and walk away, he used the fact that I was with a friend who is much younger than myself to his advantage, selling this product which is obviously not suitable for someone of her age to a young child. He continued to talk at us for another twenty, yes twenty minutes, telling us that he was giving us a great deal at $50 for the box. I paid the money to get him to shut up but the pressure selling didn't stop once we'd handed the money over. He continued to talk at us, even after we'd turn to walk away. Upon arriving back at the house, I opened the set to see what I'd bought. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this product. And how angry I am that I paid $50 for what is essentially some cheap nail set.I would never buy again. However, partially used nail set for sale.

Pushy Saleswoman and Mediocre Product
I was coaxed over to the kiosk by the saleswoman for Vine.Vera who proceeded to ask me all sorts of questions about who I was holiday shopping for. I told her I wasn't but she insisted and finally I just said my mother. She then went on to buff my nail (I'm a 21 year old male) in the middle of this mall, all whilst spewing off one liners about how the product was amazing "like me!" She then proceeded, without any inclination from myself, to ask me how I would be paying for the set. I told her I didn't have any money, as I had just bought a pair of jeans and lunch and had $10 to my name. She gave me a sorry look and then dropped the price down from $120 to some random number that I forget. I told her again that I had no money, but she wasn't taking that for an answer. Finally, she discovered her secret weapon. She asked me if I worked in the mall. When I told her yes, her eyes lit up and finally the price dropped down to $25. "Her special price" and she put the kit in my bag before asking again how I would pay for it. Feeling completely cornered I pulled out my credit card which was first DECLINED because I didn't even have $25 on it. But she took $19 (without my permission) and then $7 in cash. The best part is, I went to get my lunch that I ordered and went back to see her after reading the reviews here. I told her she was pushy and that her product had terrible reviews and that I felt coersed into buying it. I complained that there were no refunds to which she cooly replied "Well we do have a sign." She then took a picture of this page with her phone and said that the seller would be sued, as if to make her sales tactics seem justified. I am utterly disappointed in people these days.
