Why is there a warning "this contains lupin"?

It is recommended by the the FDA because they consider Lupins an allergy. We have been selling lupins since 1995 without any recorded case of allergic reactions, but as precaution we elected to list lupin flour an allergen.

Will this work to bread chicken for a crispy skin (like regular flour)?

It does work well for breading. I've used it for fish, chicken and pork. I added garlic powder, salt, pepper, and a few other herbs. So glad I found this.

I have some lupina brand flour but it is yellow--I have a recipe calling for white sweet lupin flour--is it the same thing? it has a definite taste
