You would think that it would have a much better fit for the money
I recessed this into the wall and the front cover does not completely cover the housing. There is a gap on the top, bottom and side edges between the front cover and the inside housing and it looks very cheap. You would think that it would have a much better fit for the money. This should be a $250 fireplace, complete ripoff. Definitely not worth $1,850. Dimplex should be ashamed!

Love it!
Love it! The packing was very well done and the install was easy. We did't install the heating wire (no need for heat here in Florida). The remote control which came with the system did / does not function; we are using the main on/off switch and that's ok. For an electric fireplace, it gives a great glow and people who've seen it - love it. Could not be more please with how our stone wall / fireplace turned out! (see photo!)
