I'm confused by the product description and pricing information. Is the one pack price of $7.30 for 40 lozenges or 80 lozenges?

The description is deceiving. You get a total of 40, not 80. DON’T BUY THESE! Also, Amazon won’t let you return them.

Are these sugar free?

Fisherman's actually has flavored cough drops that are sugar free (and quite tasty), though these particular ones have sugar in them.

How many carbs are in each individual cough drop? I've tried the sugar free, but they don't work as well.

Hello! We contacted the manufacturer with your question and received the following response: "We understand the importance of having product information when selecting those items which may become a part of a health and wellness plan. Please see below for carbohydrate information of the Original Extra Strong lozenge: Original Extra Strong - Per Lozenge Energy: 19KJ / 4KCal Carbohydrates: 1.09g Of which sugars: 1.02g Of which polyols: 0.0008g" Hope this helps!!

What are the ingredients in this cough drop? Especially, what is the cough suppressant ingredient/s?

menthol 10mg (cough suppressant), capsicum' dextrin, eucalyptus oil, natural licorice, sugar, tragacanth. All I can say is that it really works. I had a virus that affected my sinus. I had the cough steadily for about 2 months. My physician eventually gave me antibiotics, which did nothing (as it was a virus) He wanted to give it a try. Anyway, I enjoy Broadway plays. So, I took my package of Fisherman"s friend and a bottle of water. When I felt that tickle come on I popped a Fisherman"s Friend and drank some water. I have since passed this on to 2 of my friends. They had the same result. Good Luck

Great for Suppressing Coughs and Cutting Through Colds

My mom recommended me these after performing in a play and needing something to sooth her cough. I've gotten these in person at different stores and over Amazon, and they have never let me down. I wouldn't say that these coat the throat like a softer lozenge does as the menthol and the cooling effect can be quite strong, so I usually only take one at a time but the general texture is smooth and there is not a weird after-taste either. I use my voice a lot at my job, and when I need a quick fix of clearing signs of getting a cold, these always do the trick.
