Nice, solid product
I bought this fire ladder for the upper story location in my home. This is a solid and study product and I hope I never have to use it but in the event of a fire and I'm trapped in the upper level I have great confidence in this product.

Quite Adequate for Home Use
Looks substantial but I don't want to deploy it while I still have snow on my roof. Despite user comments about the difficulty of refolding this, I intend to deploy it when the roof is clear. The sharp edges appear to be where the aluminum treads were machine cut and then not dressed smooth so I'm going to have leather gloves on site for hand protection. The top hooks easily adjust to accommodate the window frame including a wall with 6" studs. All in all I'm quite satisfied with this product.

Not bad!
The aluminum rings are nice but loud when deployed/in use. It’s hard to fold up and put back let alone doing it relatively quiet. Wouldn’t recommend for sneaking out/in but I feel like it would be great in an emergency.

easy to use sturdy good product
i used it for a hand hole hand digging 61 feet deep granite rock material to enter and exit along with other safty equipment 24 inch diamiter hole just enough clearance worked out well

Peace of Mind
While I hope that I never need to use this in an emergency, I'm glad that I purchased it and have it in my 2nd story rooms. The unit itself seems sturdy and well made. While I have not tried to climb out of the house with it, it seems up for the task.

They are just what they claim to be
We haven't needed to use the ladders yet, but we unboxed them and they are exactly what we were looking for. We ordered 2, for each room upstairs, and they are sturdy yet lightweight, and can be assembled easily in an emergency.
