Rather Good Coffee - Still Needs To Be Darker
I Love Lavazza Caffè, and I just HAAAAAAD to try the... *Assume rapidamente un accento Italiano* Automobili Lambroghini!!! - MAMA MIA!!! VROOM!! VROOM!! Blub-Blub-Blub-Blub-Blub-Blub-Blub-Blub---VROOOOMSCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ZOOM!~heheheheh. I have been drinking and enjoying your varied roasts for almost three decades now.. So many wonderful blends.. You folks at Lavazza even inspired me to make my own home roasts, and and to even do a genuine 5 origin, 9 stage - pure dark 12/10 Napoli roast like you get only in ristoranti italiani in the US (Unless you know the right people *tugs at his left earlobe*). OMG so good!.. This Caffè begins to come veeeerrrry close to that most precious of all blends you almost can't get over here -have to do yourself models. Deathwish Coffee is still darker than this roast, though its flavor isn't nearly as good, or as smooth, and Caffè Deathwish can upset the stomach.. The Automobili Lambroghini is still.. better.. The flavor is premio superbo and low in acidity to the point that I can even drink it black, caffeine content is very good -though I still want more robusta in it. The flavor of this roast is rich and elegantly bold, yet smooth at the same time and Leagues ahead of other brands as usual. I love the fact Lambroghini sponsored this one, (Great Bag Design too --my favorite car *Frames the Bag - HAH!*), and I hope you keep the product on the shelves; I will keep buying it, and frankly.. Please make a 12/10 roast for us so I no longer have to set off the fire alarms trying to do one in my apartment here HAH!... I see... verily see... why that Perfect-Dark-Napoli roast of whch I speak is so precious.. It's hard to make and takes a lot of time, but ohhhhh how it tastes... Just one cup and you are up and going all day... two cups and you are in bed at night looking at the ceiling going "Ummmmmm That ceiling, she needs painting... Well!! *grabs the supplies* Might as well get up and do it!! HAHAHA MUWHAHAHHA!" This Wonderful Caffè comes Oh Soooo Very Close to that Divine Perfection. I was surprised how smooth was mine own Napoli roast.. and even more pleased to find that the the Automobili Lambroghini *loves saying that name* is the same. I have always said, "No one in the world knows coffee better than the Italiani.. though the South Americanos come in at a very close second". Grazie infinite.. for yet another wonderful blend Lavazza, and for keeping prices relatively down while most others go overly, unreasonably, ridiculously, ludricrously NVTZ Nuts. Y'all never dissapoint, at least not for long - heh.. From This Old Priest... Blessed Be.. All Of You...

nice aroma, very fresh, great taste and will get you moving
I wasn't sure what to expect considering this is suppose to be dark roast and clearly not as dark as my usual, but I'm absolutely happy I tried it. This has a nice aroma, very fresh, great taste and will get you moving. And great buy for price for volume. I wouldn't suggest drinking late un the day if you have to get up early.

Lifesaver for the morning expresso lover
★★★★★ Excellent Espresso with Rich Flavor and a Luxurious Finish This coffee exceeded my expectations. The Lavazza Espresso Whole Bean for Automobili Lamborghini delivers a rich, full-bodied espresso with a bold aroma as soon as you open the bag. The blend of Arabica and Robusta beans creates an excellent balance—smooth and slightly sweet from the Arabica, with a pleasant depth, crema, and extra kick from the Robusta. I use these beans in a ninja espresso machine, and they grind consistently, producing a thick, golden crema with every shot. The flavor is robust without being overly bitter, featuring notes of dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and a subtle hint of spice. It also works well in milk-based drinks like cappuccinos and lattes, where the coffee flavor remains strong instead of getting lost in the milk. The 2.2-pound bag keeps the beans fresh when stored in an airtight container, making it a great value for anyone who drinks espresso daily. The Lamborghini branding adds a premium touch, but the real standout is the quality of the coffee itself.

Bad Batch?
I keep buying Lavazza, one of my preferred brands for many years. Always happy - until my last order. I can't even describe what is wrong with this. bad beans? Bad roast? Storage? I use the same espresso maker for a few years. I learned to make a reasonably good coffee out of it. Yesterday I used up remains from my older pack - perfect as always. So, i used my burr grinder for this one, brew it the same way as always - BAD! Watery drink with just a bit of burnt flavour. No rich crema, no aroma. TERRIBLE. I did put some more beans to grinder, did a finer powder - same thing. Watery, not even a proper coffee colour. Whitish fluid with burnt flavour. What is it, and why? I tried cappuccino. Same problem. it tasted like milk diluted with water, and slightly burnt flavour. no coffee colour, just slightly brownish-white watery drink. I bought 2 packs of it on sale around christmas. can't return it - so i wasted my money. I hope that customer service at Lavazza is good and someone will get back to me. Otherwise I will need to reconsider other brands. Highly disappointing.

Great for espresso and cappuccino but the price is getting very high
Perfect coffee for espresso/cappuccino. Bold but smooth flavor. It's actually from Italy (some Lavazza products are from modified environments in the US). The problem here is the increasing price, otherwise would be 5 star. Purchased in May for $25.90. Today's price to refill my coffee grinder: $29.95 - that's about a 20% increase. As a result of the higher prices I've reduced my espresso intake from 2 to 1 a day. Update Nov 7 2025: used the available 25% coupon for subscription - brought the price back down to $21.

My new favorite Espresso
Hands down, these beans make an incredible espresso! At first I thought it was quite gimmicky to use the Lamborghini name to promote coffee beans, but they weren't joking when they label it 10/10 for intensity. So maybe it fits in this instance. My setup is a Rancilio Silvia V5 with the Gaggiuino mod, DF64 grinder, IMS basket. Since this is a robusta/arabica blend i was worried about bitterness, which there was none. Crema was excellent. The flavor was intense, even in a latte. I don't think this would be a good coffee for straight shots, but the intensity is perfect for drinks. Overall, i would recommend.

GOOD ESPRESSO BEANS
I’m reviewing the Lavazza BARISTA PERFETTO Espresso. It’s good, but not great. It may be my inexperienced skills at grinding espresso beans, but there is a small hint of a bitter aftertaste. I may be grinding the beans too finely, so I’ll be adjusting the grind over time. My other problem…there was barely any crema on the espresso shot, but this could be due to my tamping of the espresso. I’m a novice espresso bean grinder, but an experienced barista. I normally use Dallmayr Monaco Ground Espresso in my Breville Bambino Espresso Machine and get great crema on each shot with no bitter aftertaste, but being a coffee snob (I hail from Seattle…LOL), I really wanted to try grinding my own beans, but I suppose this will take time as well. I will say what I do LOVE about the Lavazza Barista PERFETTO…it’s really heavy on the Chocolate notes. Sitting next to my latte cup and I can smell the notes of chocolate. Do not be confused, it still taste of espresso but with the aroma of dark chocolate…it smells heavenly! My beans came vacuum sealed and we’re fresh. Am I convert to beans over pre-ground espresso…um, not just yet. Im going to try to perfect my grinding skills and then I’ll update my review from there.

Not a Dark Roast
Far cry from dark roast. I don't know what they packaged but it definitely is not a 10/10 roast. The coffee itself is not bad, honestly speaking. It has a good flavor and produces a nice espresso crema. My intention was to blend it with a medium roast to increase the boldness. However, these beans would do no such thing as they are medium roast too and they will end up being used standalone.

Excellent
Very good choice

excellent coffee that I will never buy again
In a few months the price has doubled with no justification, no reason at all. Lavazza is a master in blending coffees, I admit, but they are not alone. They seem to have forgotten this.

Aroma excelente y buen sabor
Sabor muy acaramelado, buen tostado, un 7/10 en amargo, cremoso, lo preparo con cafetera Automática y es mejor que cualquier café de cafetería o restaurant.
