Man people really be hating on this perfume on perfume TikTok and YouTube. Idk why people hated it so much. Its a really nice, coconut-forward, sweet vanilla. Yeah its a bit youthful and maybe not the most complex fragrance, but its still a really fun, edible-scented perfume. I think all the hype about this before it dropped gave people too high of expectations, so everyone was dissapointed when they actually smelt it. But its still a really nice perfume for us girls who enjoy a really sticky sweet gourmand. I collect perfumes and have soooo many of the popular vanillas by different fragrance houses. Sunlit Vanilla is a really syruppy sweet, and coconutty vanilla gourmand. The advertisments say it smells like vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce, and it does, with a hint of salty coconutty sunscreen. People are saying it's too cloying for summer, I did not find that to be true at all. I literally wore it to the beach in the hot sun and was sweating all day, and i got nothing but compliments. It layered amazingly with the Saltair sunscreen vanilla shimmer body oil. The scent also lasted HOURS. The projection is pretty strong for the first 2 hours, but then it fades into a beautiful salty-skin vanilla which lasted 8 hours easily. I am glad i didnt listen to the hate this fragrance got. It genuinely smells amazing and smells like it was advertised. Yeah its a thick and heavy vanilla gourmand, but if anyone has smelled Summer Friday's lip balms (especially the vanilla and pink sugar) the sweetness and syruppy quality of this perfume should not be surprising. I dont think its too syruppy for summer, but I am a die hard fan of a very sweet gourmand. I have several other more "airy" vanillas (ellis brooklyn vanilla salt, phlur vanilla skin, burberry goddess, and Mugler Alien Goddess) and I would happily still reach for this one even if it was 95 degrees out. I wouldn't wear this as a date night fragrance, or to any formal events. Its definitely more of a fun, youthful, flirty, casual scent. Its not exactly "elevated" in the way other vanillas might be (ellis brooklyn vanilla salt, burberry goddess, phlur vanilla skin, and mugler alien goddess for example) but its still a lovely, sweet, and playful scent.

I’ve accumulated quite a few vanilla fragrances, so it takes a lot for a new one to really stand out to me. Sunlit Vanilla has quickly become one of the bottles I reach for the most. It’s warm, creamy and sweet without being overly heavy or cloying. I know it’s marketed as more of a summer vanilla, but I can easily see myself wearing this through fall and winter too. It also layers beautifully with other vanilla fragrances. But probably the best review came from a completely random stranger. I was buying a rotisserie chicken at Sam’s Club and the man working behind the chicken counter stopped me to tell me how good I smelled. Then he said I actually smelled better than the rotisserie chickens. I told him I didn’t know about that because that’s pretty hard to beat. If a vanilla perfume can compete with a fresh Sam’s Club rotisserie chicken and win, I feel like that deserves five stars.

This is a nice and light summer fragrance! It lasted on me about 6 hours also. Perfect for daytime.

I have mixed feelings about this perfume. It is a nice summer vanilla.. but it’s light and doesn’t last very long as you would expect with a summer vanilla. It didn’t blow me away, but it is also not bad. I’d start with the small .30ml and go from there…

Very summery vanilla. Perfect for those sun-kissed warmer months. Scent lasts all day, cute packaging, can really put it on for any occasion, and it’s a very affordable fragrance as well.
