So far, so good. It seems really sturdy and I'm happy with the screen protector. I was even able to turn off the increased screen sensitivity and the phone still works great. The only issue that I've come across so far is that I had to take it back apart and reposition my phone because I failed to line everything up on the first attempt. The volume buttons worked fine, but the power button on the other side did not. I removed the phone and repositioned it and now they all work great, obviously my fault for not checking it on the first try. It was not easy to get back apart, which I judge as a good thing beacuse that means if I drop it on the floor that it is very unlikely to pop apart and let my phone itself get damaged. Also, there is even a film over the fingerprint scanner and it still reads my fingerprint perfectly. I'm very pleased thus far, but will update this review if I run into any issues.

Very sturdy! Bought thus for my husband. Well...he accidentally left it on the roof of my car when we were heading home. When the light turned green I stepped on the gas & saw something fly off my car. I was like what the heck was that? He said I don't know; wait where's my phone?! Turned around to get it thinking it would be shattered from the hard landing on the road. Turns out it didn't even have a scratch! Very strong case!!! We definitely recommend for clumsy people like us! LOL

I was pleased with the quality of this case until I realized my charging cable male end wouldn't fit to charge my phone through the opening. The opening is slightly off center and/or too small for any slightly larger male connections than the cables that came with the phone. ... All the buttons on the sides are perfectly responsive with only the resistance of the rubber material itself. The fingerprint reader works good; Tip is to make sure you clean the reader on your phone and remember to take off the protective shipping material on the case. True water test not yet properly tested, but have high hopes. Wouldn't try and dive/swim with it, though. The only true hole in the case when all ports are sealed is the small hole at the top right (which I believe is the main antenna for calls, etc) But as long as your phone is snug, I don't think it'll leak into the case. I've dropped my phone without this case into the ocean and had to take off the back panel for the phone to completely dry and come out of water detection alert. Staying shallow to merchandise specification depths will probably be fine as I'm assuming water pressure wouldn't overcome the air pressure in the case; Perfectly fine for rain or accidents. [8/28/23] Audio Jack Cover tore off Not sure how this happened. Probably because it wasn't pushed in flush to the case when I put it in my pocket. Guess it's typical with flexible rubber parts.

The case has great protection from fall and water damage, it's saved my phone from multiple drops that would've destroyed it without the case, But what I don't like about it is the thin plastic membrane material over the fingerprint reader that looks like it could be easily punctured by stuff in your pocket, I'd rather just have the fingerprint reader completely covered up for a better waterproof seal. The only other downside is my phone sits a little bit crooked, I've tried re-seating it several times but I cant seem to get it perfectly straight, it doesn't really bother me but it might bother you. UPDATE: Just as you'd expect, the plastic membrane over the fingerprint reader did in fact fail, it lasted longer than I thought it would but I still think it's a stupid design and the case would be ten times better without it, aside from no longer being waterproof, the case continued to do it's job and lasted the life of the phone, keeping it in the same condition as the day I got it through countless drops and tumbles onto the concrete. After 4 years my only complaint other than the fingerprint reader is the way dust ends up building up under the screen protector and affecting the responsiveness of the touchscreen forcing you to take the case off and clean it out every few months.

This case is a perfect case! Waterproof so it's wonderful for underwater pictures or splash zone pictures. It's sleek and made everyone at my husband's job think he had a brand new phone. Amazing quality for the price a similar product in my local store costs $80 or more and doesn't even include a screen protector. The fingerprint reader works perfectly just make sure you press the screen to remove all air bubbles before closing it because they will cause issues with the fingerprint reader and areas of the screen with an air bubble will be harder to press on as a word of advice.

Update: I've had the case for a few months now and my rating went down one star. The touch screen is not sensitive at all, and I usually have to touch twice to get a response, or push pretty hard. When I speak on the phone my voice is very muffled and quiet because the full seal of the case covers over the microphone. I've had to pull the case off mid-conversation a couple times on important calls. It's a bit of a pain to pull the bottom flap out every time I have to put the charger into the phone. If you're outdoors a lot the weather proof design is nice, but I'll be looking for a new case that is more flush to the screen so I don't have to push so hard to get a response. Overall good case for my S9, I really like the buttons on the side for volume and power, easy to find and hit correct button. My front cover doesn't sit completely flush on the screen, so it takes more pressure to get a response especially at the edges. Pulling down the very top of the screen is difficult. But the main areas in the center of the screen have good sensitivity. I really like that I don't need to worry about getting caught out in the rain on a walk/run or while coaching, the case has the added protection of being waterproof.

I gave it 5 because I wanted water proof case, and it is VERY TIGHT (hard to take off) case. 18$ to achieve my goal is GREAT! I will not use it to protect my phone from dropping...just water shots with an deactivated phone that will be used for maybe wifi, until the apps are non functionable or use it to download my water shot photos/movies. I will see when I go on vactation if it is water proof. Yes, it has a thin layer by camera that looks like it can get ripped very easlily, I will probably will tape it so it is more stronger. I think it is for thumb print lock? C plug can go in. White cloth did not put dust on case. I did have extreme difficulty to the point I thought I could not even get the case off my phone because it is really really tight but I did what they said and FINALLY DID pry the bottom up. Once my phone is deactivated, then I will use this case and put my name and phone number in and out and hopefully no one can remove the case easily and then get it back if it is found.

So when I initially got my S20, I went through several combinations of case/screen protector and cases with built in screen protectors and yadda yadda... Curved screens. UHG. Finally, I put on a regular screen protector (I think I have the Armor Suit which does leave just a slight halo around the edges where it doesn't fit to the curve, but the case obscures that, which is great.), and got this case. They work well together and I really like the lightweight feel of the case and the texture, which makes the phone a little more grippy. I was worried about my PopSocket adhering to the texture of the case, but it hasn't been a problem and all three products are working in unison. I will say, I am not rough on my phone. I do tend to drop it a lot in my house on the hardwoods or at work on the carpet, occasionally in the parking lot getting out of my car, but overall I'm fairly easy on it. My husband, for example, keeps his in a pocket at work that often houses other things like nuts, bolts, pens, etc, and apparently he goes around dropping it on concrete or throwing it against walls, so he has a heavier case, but for my purposes this one works just fine.

If you're like me, you go through a LOT of phones. I've chomped my way through even the toughest buggers of phones, even broke an iPhone 4s (which could resist a toilet bowl drop while NOT waterproof). Tried on a lot of cases, some very expensive ones, even Otter (should called utter, for its utter rubbish!!!) but none of them, none, properly protected the screen. Let's face it : screen protectors are awkward to put on, almost always leave some sort of bubbles, and reduce the value of the phon for resale. I scored this Samsung S9 for 150 CAD, and I attend to sell at least the same price in 2 or 3 years. This case protects your investment well. Its not too bulky, the integrated screen protector do not affects the capacitive touch function whatsoever; it takes advantage of the S9's slight curve on the edges of the screen so that it leaves around 1mm of bezel on each side, ensuring that the case will never go over the screen at all. The tolerances on this for a 24 bucks products are properly unbelievable, everything is aligned perfectly, its easy to install and looks and feels like touching the screen directly. I do not know about the waterproof feature... I'm sure it works but you gotta be really certain to close the edges super properly otherwise air, thus water, will certainly go inside, and it's not de-pressurized, so I wouldn't use it for diving, which it is not made for. If you're tired of shitty tough phones and want even more protection and a great camera and processor, get a S9 and this case. Simply cannot be beaten!

I bought it 1o months ago and it is very strong built. waterproof as well. This is the most secure phone cover I have ever seen.

I really like this case, previously I had a lifeproof one which had a plastic back with an opening for the camera, lights and fingerprint reader. The LP one worked pretty well and was smaller than this one all round, but I would say this one is better. The front screen cover fits great and sticks to the screen, responsiveness for the touchscreen is seamless and unlike the lifeproof there's no problem fitting the silly galaxy warp around screen. It makes the phone a bit wider and longer because of the rubber edge, but allround a great fit. However larger audio plugs won't fit in the 1/8" jack due to the case thickness, my lifeproof came with a little screw in waterproof audio extender thing which was really neat, but I never used it, just go bluetooth and you're golden. All round, super happy with this one. Highly recommend it.
