Knitter's PrideBasix Fixed Circular Needles 40", Size 17/12mm

Made the colossal mistake of trying to knit a blanket with that really thick yard on straight needles. I will say no more except that I then ordered this item to try to save my sanity. What a relief. In the meantime, the needles themselves are sliding over one another well and I haven't had any issues with the cable yet.I am very happy with the knitter's pride circular needles.

Perfect! Started using them the day I got them! PLUS, the cables don't coil up on themselves...

I’m new to knitting but so far these are working great.

I bought these circular needles because I'm knitting a sweater, and I needed circular needles to accomodate the stitches for the larger pieces. I'm fairly new to knitting, and I've only used circulars one other time for a hat. I'm so happy I decided to try knitting a larger project with these needles. The cord is just the right length and the needles are finished so that stitches move freely on them. For the price and quality, I give these five stars.

These knitting needles are really nice, molded and processed so that they are smooth. Not as slick as a metal needles but I have other bamboo needles that have more of a grip to them. Comfortable in size & style. They are built stronger/ sturdier. My other 'not as top notch' bamboo needles are soft and have gotten impressions/ scratches/ groves in the wood from working with the other paired needle. These are sturdy and have no scratches or marks BUT the paint on the needles displaying the size has worn off with just 1 project being made. I took a knife and ingraved the mm size on the side. But the attached chord is very well made and hasnt wiggled or come loose yet. Good purchase.

A very large shawl

Nice needles for knitting a heavy duty blanket. I took a chance on these as I could not get to the knitting store. The price was very good and the reviews mentioned failed connection betweens the needle and the cord. So far I am 5 and half feet into my twin sized blanket. I found these needles well made and easy to knit with. The points make picking up stiches easy. I have not put the full weight of the blanket onto the cord as I keep it on my lap while knitting.I strongly reccomend these needles.

I knitted a shawl out of super bulky yarn. The needles were not too slippery, so the stitches didn't unexpectedly slide off the needles. They were nice and light weight and easy to handle.

Work great, very smooth.

Found these easy to use when knitting a poncho.

I went with the lower priced circular needles at size 17. They work well. Only reason I gave it a 4* is because 'wood' is heavier than bamboo. There is a difference in weight from bamboo. Seller was clear that it was wood. I just didn't realize the difference in weight.

At first I thought it was a bit awkward to knit with but as I got used to them, it went faster and easier. Love them

I had such a hard finding needles like this locally. Needed them to make a chunky wool blanket. Worked wonderfully
