This cheese slicer is terrific! It's very sturdy, works very well on hard cheeses and cleans up beautifully in the dishwasher. It feels good in my hand and I've used it several times already.

This is a solid tool. Easy to use, slices cheese well.It's got a good weight so it doesn't feel like it'll break against the cheese, rather the cheese will break against the tool.

Easy to use and nice thin slicesThis is made very well and is so easy to cut thin slices of block cheese like parmesan, with very thin slices. I have used it on block cheddar cheese and also does well. They aren't perfectly uniform slices but very thin and quick. I also have a wire one that cuts uniformly but this one gets the job done very quickly. Also works well on butter that just came from the refrigerator to cut a thin slice and put on toast.

I have had mine for the longest time. It looks like new and it's been used on so many varieties of cheeses! I use it on hard cheeses, softer cheeses and it works like I'm slicing butter 2 years post buying it! It washes well, and you know what a nightmare it is to clean a big old cheese grater! This is something I didn't know I needed, but I'm so glad I found it. It looks as good today, and works just as well as the day that I bought it. I'm so glad I took a chance on this little cheese demon slicer! I noticed other reviews saying it doesn't work well on soft cheese, but it does! You just have to hold the cheese until you're almost done, and then take your last little piece of cheese up to the slicer and rub it carefully! This will not slice you like a scary mandolin, it's so much safer and easier. If this indestructible little bad boy ever gets lost, I will only replace it with the same exact one!!!
