Hope Crossing: The Complete Ada's House Trilogy, includes The Hope of Refuge, The Bridge of Peace, and The Harvest of Grace (An Ada's House Novel)

If I could give this trilogy 10 stars I would! It’s been by far the best Amish novel of this genre that I’ve read to date. The author has a fantastic ability to weave several story lines into one read and do it without the amateurish writing that I’ve seen in many other books of this type. Her style is mature and unafraid to pull in details that make for a real-life story, not an Amish fairytale. I thoroughly enjoyed these books and can’t wait to dig-in to more of her work.

Loved reading all three books, rolled into one. Wonderful to read with not worrying about bad words!! I love reading and learning about the Amish .

The first stories were just a delight to read. The third one I had a problem getting going on it. I was expecting more connection with the first 2 but eventually the story took shape and slowly wound down to the end. The first two were predictable but had a couple of twists and turns that were unexpected. Lovely stories! The third was more mixed up in my mind and there were a couple of characters that I felt could have been developed a lot better. However, I will still be watching for anything new from this author.

The story comes to life with believable characters in very lifelike situations. I loved it! Fun to read, thought provoking!

Love Cindy... she writes so well, you become part of her story!

This book and the entire series were fabulous. I could hardly put it down once I got into it and couldn't wait to get into the next book. I loved the way Christ, commitment to Him, and the plan of salvation was presented in such a winsome way. Thank you for enriching my life with meaningful, worthwhile books.

This is a wonderful set of Amish books. I like how the author produces real problems and family and struggles and love in these books. Highly recommend.

I had no dislikes other than some things were drawn out. The 3 book series was great and the author, Cindy Woodsmall, help the reader identify with each character. I love it.

Fantastic reading, enjoyed this trilogy immensely. Having read the trilogy 'Sisters of the Quilt which, was so good I cried along with the characters and read this one three times!! so I was looking forward to reading Hope Crossing and wasn't disappointed. I have read many Amish books and Cindy Woodsmall's penmanship and sensitivity to the subjects she writes about leave the reader drawn into the story. May we have many more by this author-- PLEASE!
