ObosoyoWomen's Hooded Thickened Long Down Jacket Maxi Down Parka Puffer Coat

After buying and returning several coats from Amazon and other retailers, I finally found a coat I liked! I bought this last December and wore it during the coldest part of our winter. Even though the coat is light weight, the down filling was still very nice and warm. It may not be quite as warm as the old coat I was replacing, but it was still fine when I was outside with temperatures in the low teens. I think it will also be warm when we have zero weather again, as we occasionally do here in Northeast Tennessee.I bought this coat in the purple and it is very pretty. It is a neutral-like purple color, not bright, and looks very similar to the picture. I did not attempt to attach the fur to the hood. I have older coats with fur around the hood and it's too much. So I'm happy without the fur, and the hood works great and keeps my head warm. After my experience with other coats on here, I sized up and ordered the 3X - I normally wear around a size 18-20 - and the 3X fit perfectly. It was roomy but not huge. The style is slightly fitted with a large elastic band in the back. It was not tight at all but it keeps the coat from looking too boxy or too huge. I'm 5'2" and the coat is really long on me, but it's not TOO long. The longer length keeps my legs warm! The pockets are a little low for me, but they are still ok. I have a pair of gloves stuffed in the pockets (one in each side). The zippers on the pockets are nice because I have a tendency to keep my hands in the pockets, and that's not really a safe thing to do because you can't catch yourself if you happen to slip and fall. I can remove the temptation by keeping the pockets zipped.I was concerned about the double zipper, as I had returned another coat to a different, name-brand company partly because I could not get the double zipper to work. I took a chance on this one because a previous review said the double zipper "actually works," and that person was right! I was able to work this zipper with very little trouble. Sometimes it latches together perfectly and sometimes I have to work with it a minute, but it doesn't take long to get it right.I found this coat to be very comfortable. As I already mentioned, the fit was great. This coat is also not heavy and won't weigh you down. Yet it is cozy and warm. Some of the other coats I tried were heavy and not comfortable. Another one was comfortable but not warm because the filling was only polyester. I'm very happy to have found this coat and to have ended my search!

I purchased this coat with a lot of trepidation because it was not a brand name. I was afraid that it would be cheaply made and/or I would have to send it back because it wouldn’t fit properly. So glad I bought this coat as it not only fits it very warm too! I’m 5’4” and 120 lbs and purchased a medium. It fits great, doesn’t look big and bulky on me and yet allows me to wear a bulky sweater underneath. The other thing that I was unsure about was the “fake “ fur on the hood. I’ve seen so many coats where the fake fur looked awful. I can honestly say that the fur on this coat is very nice and looks very real, so much do that people have asked to touch it because it looks so high end. All in all, I’m extremely happy with the coat and although I’ve only had it for a few days can say that it appears to be well made. Should things change upon further use I will update my review.

(First Review):Quality control needs improvement. This is the second time that I am returning this down coat. The first time was the incorrect size sent. The second return was the upper zipper did not zip down. It was locked into place and it would not even budge for me to try on the coat.(Second Review): Third time a charm! Finally. This is the third order. The overall look is very, very nice. Before I decided to keep this coat, I inspected the product including the zippers working on the coat as well as the hood. I checked ALL of the snaps. You do have to be gentle unsnapping to avoid any snaps coming apart. I checked to make sure that all 7 elastic eye loops are in-tack to match the 7 buttons plus 4 additional elastic eye loops to match the 4 buttons, all to secure the faux fur trim to the hood. The elastic eye loops are too small to easily wrap around the buttons. The company needs to add at least 1/4" extra to the loops. It was somewhat of a challenge to attach the faux fur trim to the buttons. You need patience. Once you successfully attach the trim I suggest that you keep the trim on permanently until the coat needs to be cleaned. I also check the lining seams. Former reviews mentioned the side front pocket zippers. They are weak. The zippers should be a larger gauge. I have an existing down parka that has the same type of zippers. I just keep the zippers open for convenience because I keep a pair of gloves in the pockets. I keep taking my gloves on and off when I am out and about. The hood of the coat is large. It does tend to droop over the forehead (as mentioned in other reviews) if you are not wearing a winter cap with a pom pom. It fits fine with a cap. I am going to add 2 large hook-and-eyes to each end of the faux fur trim to keep the hood in-tact plus the hooks and eyes will cinch the faux fur trim closer to the neck for a collared look. I wish that the faux fur trim was in solid black rather than the 2 tone. I would have liked to have purchased faux fur outer cuffs to add to the coat. The color is not purple. At least what I call 'purple'. The color is aubergine (eggplant). A rich color with a very slight sheen texture. The 'large', which I chose, is true to size with a little 'wiggle' room for a bulky sweather. The 'large' would be too large if you prefer a tighter 'fitted' look. I like having the knitted cuffs hidden under the hem of the sleeve. If the sleeves are a little too long for you, the cuffs hold the sleeves up. The color of the cuffs matches the color of the coat. The length of the coat is perfect. With my 5'5" height the length of the coat covers my calves. If you keep the lower snaps unsnapped, it will be easier to sit with the coat on. I tested sitting with all the snaps closed at the hem. It actually worked fine. I just lifted the hem of the coat up a litle bit. There was no pull and easy to sit. The design of the coat is very feminine. Somewhat different in looks compared to the run-of-the-mill down coats or jackets. The filling is true down feathers. Not too bulky but yet warm. The length is 42" is not 45" as stated in the measurement chart. I hope to enjoy this coat for years to come.

The styling is great. It's warm for weather -20.
