Will the stars stick to the board if I hang it on the wall?

Yes. I decided to hang my board on the wall and the stars stick just as well as they would on a fridge.

Is the entire back of the chart magnetic, or does it just have a few small attached magnets on the back?

The entire back is magnetic. For best results, remove the string when placing it on the refrigerator. (The string can always be placed back if you ever want to hang it on the wall)

The actual chart does not stick to my fridge. Everything else does.

Not sure why it wouldn't? lt has the biggest surface area of magnetic material stuck to it's backside. Same as the rest of the items in this product.
