Saved an Oldie!
It was a perfect fit for an old Toshiba C855 laptop. It took all of about one minute to remove old battery and put in the new. It came about 55% charged. Computer recognized it with no problem. I have been cycling as recommended and each cycle shows a little more use time. Up to about 8 hours now, better than original. I will probably buy another one for the other laptop I have. No experience necessary.

Fits the Toshiba C+55D laptop
3rd battery order for us and it's a dandy. (The other two by different sellers nearly fit.) The GHU New Replacement Laptop Battery Fits my C-55D Toshiba Satellite like a glove. Works great too! Well done!

Dude! It worked!
Didn’t have high expectations but am really surprised that this worked and has higher capacity than original equipment.

Always read and follow the directions!!!
When buying batteries the most important thing to know is to READ THE DIRECTIONS! I'm posting a picture with this review. This battery is great. At least for me. It was compatible with my Toshiba satellite c55, it seems to charge relatively quickly but I guess I haven't timed it. It was easy to install. It only took me twice for it to reach full capacity of 100%. But I'm still going to do it a third time because that's what the directions state to do and I wonder if the few people I saw that said their battery was only reaching 80%, maybe forgot to read the directions and that's why their battery wasn't reaching full capacity. I say this because My battery also only reached 80% on the first charge. After completely discharging it, it charged to 100%. But I'm going to do it one more time just to be on the safe side. Otherwise I have no regrets, and would go with this battery again.

So Far So Good
Seems to be working well. I didn't think so at first because it took so long to charge - maybe 2 hours. Takes about an hour to charge now and lasts about 4-5 hours, which is great since that hasn't happened in years. By the way, I have a Toshiba Satellite C55-A. A lot of reviews did not list their model, which wasn't helpful so I want to be sure to say mine so those owners know the battery fits and works in this particular model.
