Men's Long Sleeve Sherpa Hooded Robe, Full Length Bathrobe

I was reluctant to get the buffalo plaid because some of the horror stories in the reviews, but I risked it because it's the exact robe I've been searching for. I have no clue how those folks washed theirs, but I followed the very simple instructions, and have had zero issues machine washing and tumble drying this robe. After the fourth wash, the black fleece is still free of red fibers. I even tossed in a red and white flannel along with it on the fourth wash, and the white is still bright and vibrant with no pink. I'm guessing folks washed and dried this on hot. Don't. I love the length. Other robes leave my calves cold in the winter, but not this one! I am 5'11", 190lbs, and the Large was perfect. I could gain a lot of weight and still wear this robe comfortably. It's very soft. Not the softest microfiber I've felt, but it ranks pretty high. The black fleece inside the hood is incredibly warm, and it continues down the edge of the robe, kind of like an accent lapel. Its also on the cuffs of the sleeves, which are just snug enough to push my sleeves up for cooking breakfast without worrying about my sleeves getting too close to the burner. My only gripe is that the belt is a bit higher than I would like, but I admittedly have short legs and a long torso, so it's probably perfect for normally-proportioned people.

I needed a really warm robe with a hood because I watch TV in a recliner in my bedroom late at night long after the heat has been turned down. I also wanted it to be plenty long to cover my legs while reclining. This robe is exactly what I wanted! I'm a woman but ordered a man's to be sure it was floor-length on me. I chose what I thought was the most girly-looking one and it's fabulous! The sherpa is so warm and thick, and the fabric is warm and soft. The sherpa at the wrist is great too as it prevents any cold air from coming in. I love putting it on when I'm cold after a shower then snuggling into my recliner. It's so comforting, soft and cozy. Its quality is great...nothing cheap about it. I love it, love it, love it.

I got this as a retirement gift, for me! It makes me wonder HOW I got up and left the house for my job for so many years! This robe is soft, warm, comfy, and VERY nap-inducing! Once the hood is up and I have found "the comfy chair" it is "me time"!!

Extremely comfy and so warm. Very happy with the length. Feels like a blanket wrapped around you.

Best robe ever..its been 3 yrs since I ordered this and its still our favorite. Its like wearing a hug. So soft, warm and comfortable.

This review is ONLY for the Alexander Del Rossa Men's Warm Fleece Robe with Hood, Plush Big and Tall Bathrobe, Large-XL Red Buffalo Check Plaid with Sherpa (A0262Q42X). This robe is the prefect Christmas robe, Red Buffalo Check Plaid with Sherpa, so I immediately bought it. I am 5ft 9in and the L/XL fit perfectly. It stopped right at the top of my ankle which is right where I hoped it would go and the arms stopped about an inch short of my wrist but it wasn’t noticeable and I didn’t care because this robe was amazing looking and I have wanted a Christmas robe for faaaaaaaaaar too long. The tag sewn in the robe says to wash cold, gentle cycle with like colors and tumble dry on low. Well, I washed it with some old towels I keep at the back of my linen closet. They aren’t stained I just keep them for emergencies and this was one…sorta. I use them for situations when color bleeding may be an issue and I was concerned this might bleed red all over. Washing it cold/cold worked out perfectly. No bleeding of the red at all for me and the sherpa parts of the robe and the towels were not stained red, so far so good. Now at this point a small voice in my head kept saying ‘line dry it, line dry it”, but the tag said drying it on low worked so I decided to take a chance and went with that. I dried it on low as the tag said to and when I pulled it out……… it was COVERED in red fabric lint. Yep, the red fabric gave off red lint fibers like there was no tomorrow and the white sherpa, every inch of it, was covered in red. Not stained red just covered with red lint. I was mortified. I double checked the washing instructions and, yep, I followed them to the letter. I made a few attempts to pull the red pills and lint out of the Sherpa but it was futile and my lint roller had ZERO success either. The red pills and lint were just to embedded in the white Sherpa. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because someone at quality control should have caught this but didn't. R.I.P. Christmas robe. The little voice in my head was right for a change *sigh* I was able to return it and may buy this again now that I know better but under no circumstances should you dry this robe. LINE DRY IT!!

Da muss man erst über den großen Teich um ein Produkt zu bekommen das hält was es verspricht. Passt Molliges Tragegefühl, Preis und Leistungsverhältnis unübertroffen. Werde mir noch einen Bestellen, so überzeugt bin ich von dem Produkt. Günstiger als die Ware hier aus Deutschland und bei weitem besser, Made in Germany kann da nicht mithalten.

I purchased this dressing gown recently and found it to be wonderfully warm and very good quality. I'm a 6'2 and 92kg (202 lbs) male, the extra large tall size I chose is just right, more than ample and the sleeves a good length. The dressing gown nearly wraps around me 1&1/2 times which is really good for extra warmth and the entire length is generous. The woollen lined hood is a good thing as well. So if your taller or have a wider girth it will still be ample. I highly recommend.

This was a very disappointing buy. When something is stated in the product information section of the product page and it turns out to be completely untrue, this is the biggest mistake a seller can make. In no way shape or form was this mens dressing gown “EXTRA THICK”, it’s a complete lie, a fabrication of the sort. Even the fluffy white fleece you see in the photos which is around the collar is not even inside the gown itself, its just around those edges that you see in the product photos, if that white fleece you see around the collar was actually inside the whole gown, I may have been swayed to keep it, but it was not. The gown was very thin. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the length was actually good and as stated and the sizing was good also. But apart from these two things, it was not extra thick and the quality was just basic if not lesser quality than a standard dressing gown, in my opinion. The reason I bought this gown was because it said extra thick, I SPECIFICALLY did NOT want a thin one, thus why this one caught my eye with the claim of “extra thick”. However this was far from the truth. So to conclude, I have returned the item back and advise anyone who is looking for an extra thick dressing gown that is at least standard quality or slightly better, to NOT buy this one. For that, I do not recommend it.
