Buy it, it works.
Ordered this to try and "clean up and free up stuck/dirty solenoids" in a BMW transmission. Added this to the transmission and drove it around the neighborhood to get the fluid flowing. THIS STUFF WORKS!!! The transmission has 166k miles and fluid has never been changed. The transmission would not downshift when going up hills and would give a code for the solenoid. I bought this to clean up the transmission and free any stuck parts before doing a fluid change and this stuff did the job and then some. Transmission is shifting great and acts like a new transmission. Great value for a product that works.

Some fixes in a can WORK
Have a dodge 2500 that won't shift past second gear? Have a 99 Ford F-150 that slips in between gears? Have an 07 Maxima with a shuttering torque converter? Buy this and erase all those issues. I did. Works great and is getting harder to find because it actually works wonders.

Over 180k miles
I was given a 96 Nissan Altima with 140k miles. It didn't shift the quickest and you could tell that although it drove, you had to be gentle with it - it wasn't responsive, didn't shift immediately, went clunk sometimes, and sometimes would slip. The previous owner hadn't maintained it like he should and it was in some pretty rough shape, but it was free and it drove. I added some of this stuff and it was amazing how much it improved - quieted down, shifted much better, drove much better - I could floor it and feel some real power. After about 20k more miles I had the fluid taken out and refilled, and then around 160k it started having issues again, so I added more of this and it quieted everything down and worked great. Finally around 188k miles (still on the origial transmission) it began to have major issues indicating mechanical teardown. This isn't going to fix something that is mechanically broken but if it isn't shifting well or is noisy, this definitely made a marked improvement. If it's high milage and not well maintained and having more major issues, but still mechanically sound, you might want to put this in, drive it a couple hundred miles, and then do a flush and filter replacement. That was even more amazing for me, and ultimately it got me another 44k miles and 2 years.

works
I got this to make the steering wheel in my old civic hatchback smoother. I pumped out a bit of fluid from the power steering tank, added half a bottle of this stuff, ran the car 20 minutes while moving the steering wheel back and forth. Then I drove my car about 30 minutes and topped off the power steering fluid with 'lucas power steering fluid+conditioners'. The wheel moved so much better, so I'm happy. I docked a star because when I pulled the white tab off the mouth of the bottle, a bunch of purple fluid came out and got all over my hand that was holding the bottle. Made me mad, especially because my toddler was at my hip on the other side. Not really an issue with functionality of the fluid, just pressure in the bottle, I guess. So, wear gloves and open somewhere that you're ok with potentially getting dirty

Real Deal. Pretty awesome stuff
My Dad swears by this. He had a Ford Tempo would drop into neutral (torque converter slipping) at red lights until you rev to 3k rpm then jump into gear chirping tires. And a Dodge caravan that trans slipped. Both vehicles he would add 1 quart and they would be fine from 1, 3, 6 months. Then slip again eventually he would add another quart. Sounds ridiculous but if you aren't ready to drop the $ and the transmission, or scrap the car yet. This Stuff Works.

Worked for me as a fix and preventative
Used this for the first time on a 16yo CRV @ 198K miles. For many years I never did transmission flushes on the car. I changed the tranny fluid twice in the lifetime of the car, and did a flush at 130k miles. It runs well after all these miles, but I noticed it had developed a slight vibration that can be felt in the dashboard and generally the front of the car at certain speeds (35, 50, and 85). Also sometimes it would have trouble switching into 3rd gear on an incline. I started using this about 2 months ago, and I can *definitely* see an improvement. The switching 'issue' is almost gone, and the vibration has all but disappeared -- I used to be able to induce it easily by cruising at exactly those speeds, but no more. Another thing that helped greatly was their regular Sea Foam for the engine and gas -- I used it in the oil and gas at every filling, and it *dramatically* reduced oil consumption of the car, it's like brand new at this point, after 2 years of regular treatments. I personally use these two products constantly in the vehicle. I use about 1/5 to 1/4 of the recommended amount, but I leave it in for treatment and prevention. Use my experience/advice at your own risk, as it does not recommend using it long term on the bottle. I have, however, in much decreased quantities, as I said, and it has cleared up oil consumption and tranny problems in two vehicles of mine now with steady, low dosage use over several years.

It works!!!
I recently bought an old 2001 Mitsubishi Montero in fairly good conditions over all, as expected, I'm getting my own maintenance done so I decided to buy this Sea Foam products in order to clean un up the transmission internals. It was shifting kind of soft, some few times I notice it stocks in a gear or miss shift, not a big issue talking about and 2001 car, so I changed half the ATF capacity (3qts) with a new ATF and put Sea Foan on it, terrific!!!! Few miles away I start getting my transmission back in shape, it runs really smooth, I have a precise shifting now and miss shifting or sudent down shifting is a matter of the past. I very, very pleased with this product, by now, I'm going to run my car as many miles as possible and tomorrow I'll take the ATF and trans filter change done, new transmission back that easy!!!!

Steering hydraulics cleaner.
I used the product with the aim of cleaning up my steering rack hydraulics. It made a slight improvement to the racks workability. It was my cheap option before choosing to replace the rack.

Accord 99
Volvieron a. Entrar los cambios como se supone debe trabajar la transmisión!

Really effective hydraulic system additive. Quality USA made product.
Really did the business on my 33 year old PS system. Steering became heavy & notchy on direction change (possible sticky/partially blocked valve body?) so flushed the system out, added new fluid then poured in this additive. Smooth, quiet operation within 10 mins, with more steering assistance in the 12-years I've had the car. Worked a treat for me!

Effective
Used on two 13 year old vehicles. Power steering noise reduced and steering became free. Am changing the power steering oil after 200 kms of running. Will add a fresh batch of this oil to keep the system in shape.
