I’ve purchased these figs multiple times, especially for my mom whenever she visits, and they consistently impress us with their quality and freshness. The figs are plump, soft, and naturally sweet without being overly sugary. One thing I appreciate is the consistency from bag to bag; the figs are clean, well-dried, and never tough or overly dry like some other brands can be. While the price is slightly higher than standard dried figs, the quality is noticeably better, making them worth the repeat purchase. Though 1 fig was so dry I ended up spitting it out, the others have been chewy moist and delicious. If I come across another one that seems too dry, I'll just soak it in water for a few minutes. I like them heated, too, and added cut up to things like oatmeal. Overall, excellent quality and taste.

As others have said these are sweet and tasty but the one thing I will add is that mine seem to be tough on the bottom! I've never had that before. This is the second bag I've gotten but I'm not happy with with this bag!

This review applies to all of this company’s dried fruit products available on amazon (I have tried most of them, if not all). I haven’t made a pointed price per pound comparison to bulk food items at Whole Foods or similar local brick and mortar sellers, but if memory serves, price is comparable and quality of products is equal to, or better... plus the added convenience of home delivery, minus the risk of exposure to the Rona from an in-person trip to the grocery store. You get a fairly large amount in each pack for the price and the resealable bags with flat bottoms make all their stuff convenient to store in cupboards (can lie flat on side, or stand vertical). The bags are easy to open and reseal, and they keep contents fresh. I’ve bought just about every dried fruit they have to offer. I eat them instead of candy, cakes, or ice cream as a healthy way to satisfy the occasional sweet tooth urge minus the guilt. Dried fruit has a higher concentration of natural sugars than fresh fruit, but it’s high in fiber and other good stuff. It “chews” like candy and is as sweet or sweeter and more filling so you get more satisfaction from eating less. Cut up with kitchen scissors and add to oatmeal and/or sliced apples and oranges mixed in a bowl, add some cinnamon, or unsweetened powdered cocoa, or unsweetened coconut shreds, or nutmeg, or plain unsweetened whole yogurt (or all of the above) and dust with your favorite healthy sugar substitute. There are tons of different ways to combine the above for lots of variety, and you will have a desert that’s healthy but manages to seem more decadent than anything on offer at the fanciest of restaurants. I love all of this company’s dried fruit products (to date, knock on wood). I haven’t researched this company or its processing quality, etc. so you’ll have to do that for yourself if you have concerns about that, but so far I haven’t had a bad batch, and I plan on ordering even more in the future.

I wanted to love these. The reviews made me purchase these because I usually get them at Whole Foods. I thought I would just try these instead. The stems are still attached, which makes sense to me, but I love figs and these were so hard. I mean the stem is really hard, but the rest of it was very hard too. So it’s not like you could just eat around the stem. The whole thing was hard. They have a texture that was not really palatable to me I mean it was like biting into leather and very dry and I get that they’re dried, . don’t get me wrong, I get that part but still usually this type of fig is soft on the inside and the outer skin is not so tough. Some were good and some just yuck. Some tasted like mold to me. Got tired of trying to pick through the bag and guess which one might taste OK. so would I buy them again no because I pay upwards of 20 bucks for a bag of petrified figs? I didn’t even finish the bag. Maybe I got the wrong bag. I’m not sure but they were absolutely disgusting.

These are generally good figs, tasty, and with good color and texture, and I've purchased them 10 times. However, quality control is poor and the product is inconsistent. Some figs are very dried out (not like normal dried figs, but crunchy and crusty). Some have a weird dark color and are not sweet. Some are gritty (as if including tiny bits of rock), and once in a while the bits of rock are not so tiny (see the photo). Yet it's not as if the entire bag is bad; various bags have higher or lower percentages of inferior figs, so it's not like I just got a bad bag. I don't expect complete consistency in organic items, but I do expect the grower and the supplier to define minimum acceptance criteria and to impose basic quality control inspections. I sometimes buy packaged dried figs in the market, and they have great consistency and quality control. These Terrasoul figs seem to lack even basic inspection before bagging. So, when they're good, they're very very good, but when they're not, they're horrid.

Son buenos pero no los clásicos higos secos y PLANOS. Tienen buen sabor pero no tan sabrosos como los clásicos.
