BMW 36-13-6-758-569 Insignia Stamped with Ad

I have ordered 3 of these emblems over the past 6 months or so for my Z4 2012 BMW and they have held up and look great. They fit well on the existing mounts. I used Gorilla construction adhesive to ensure they stay in place. I don’t drive the car very often and it is garaged, so not allot of wear and tear, however, I did drive in heavy rain and wind recently and also at speeds of 80+ and they still look brand new.

This item did not fit my vehicle, but seem to be of good quality easy installation, great value, color looked good, very functional for the right placement.

We have a '26 BMW X7 and as a gag, we are converting our golf cart to match it.. colors, embles, ect.. We picked this emblem to place on the hood of the golf cart... This emblem is super thin and does not represent the thickness, or quality, of a true BMW product. The thickness of the material would equate to the thickness of a soda can. It is flat, not domed, as the authentic BMW emblem. The appearance is that of low quality. This is not a good value for the money. I am glad we are only using this on a golf cart and not our actual vehicle.

Just had to pop in to write this so someone else might find it helpful since it took me so long to source and research for my z4 hood emblem. In the q&a some people replied “no it doesnt fit z4 e85”, yes it does, this is 70mm, which is bmw z4 hood size! It fits the hood emblem. Please know this is not a full emblem, this is decal, my metal embem is still attached to my car but the bmw metal decal had been stolen, this was a perfect parts for what was stolen. So don’t expect a full metal emblem, this is a part of a full emblem. Please measure all your emblems before buying, it’s all different sizes on your bimmer, there are no universal one fits all. Hope this helps.

My driver's side emblem part came off the driver's side signal.light in the front quarter panel. I didn't want to spend a small fortune on replacing it. This doesn't fit the side emblem area all the way. It's about a quarter inch smaller than the area requires. That's the silver part you see in the pic around it. I didn't want to spend the money for the whole thing and the installation. So I just centered it as best I could and stuck it on. It's made of a flexible metal. I believe this is more for the front & back emblem areas. But without someone closely looking, no one will notice it's not the original. It's holding up good enough & so far no one has noticed and it's been about a year. For the price, it does the job.

For 1 series BMW, the size is about the same as the rear, trunk emblem. I thought this product was a thin paper like sticker, but was actually metal. Tried to apply it OVER the original faded emblem, but the R or curving shape was different and needed to peel it. Then the stickie was stronger than I thought and it peeled the top layer of faded emblem. So I carefully removed the og emblem from the new one. Still the new one kept its shape without warping. Great!! Then just in case I put tons of chalking between the new emblem and the trunk to fill in the space, put the new emblem, put some paint tape over it to make sure it dries and stays in place, a couple days later I didn’t even notice that I replaced the emblem. It looks like true OEM emblem. For 1/5 cost, I’m more than happy and glad I gave it a shot. One happy customer from SoCal!

So I searched for a hood roundel and this came up as fitting my E36. Wrong, it does not fit the hood or trunk of any BMW I have or have had, which is a bunch. It does apparently fit wheels, not that it says that anywhere. It may or may not be high quality, and I don't know who did the writeup, but at best it's misleading, at worst intentionally deceptive. I suppose I should have searched the part number, but I didn't. It does not fit 78 or 82MM hood or trunk emblems. Not even sort of.

I replaced the old worn emblems on my 96 R1100RS and they were a perfect fit. Size was as described. They look great. I did some preparation of cleaning the old emblems off and making sure the surface was clean. I didn't use any adhesive and they stuck great. A lot better price than from OEM.
