So far, as good as my old SB-600...
I'll be brief: my skepticism level was high when I was researching this flash unit. I mean, the price is too good. I read multiple reviews where people praised it, and I decided to pull the trigger...still not expecting much from it. I received it today and I am HIGHLY pleased.Without even reading the instructions, I simply put the batteries in, placed it on my Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 Bracket, hooked up the TTL cable, turned my D7200 on, turned the flash on and snapped pic after pic. All was good. It took me back to my old SB-600 days. Perfect exposures all around. The flash communicates properly with the camera. It looks and feels decent: not premium, but not cheap either. I was expecting way worse.I haven't tried the wireless triggers, since I'm using it the old-school way and it works perfectly. I give it 5 stars on this initial review. Time will tell if it will remain a 5 star item. I cannot write about battery life or recharge time between frames because I take one shot at a time instead of spraying and praying. But so far, so good when taking time between shots. It's really powerful for being such an affordable flash. I'm impressed, enough that I'm going to order a couple more to have more flexibility. Lastly, the included items work perfectly fine to smooth the flash's light and are of nice quality. Even the wireless triggers look and feel good. If I try them, I'll update this review. I'm really pleased with this flash kit, and so far, I recommend it. Thanks for reading and God bless you greatly.Enclosed are four pictures on M mode at 1/64 power using a Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8G. First two are on a D7200 and the other two on a D60.

Great kit
I bought this for the remote shutter release only, so the flash head was just an added bonus. The entire kit is great. I know nothing about photography (this was a gift), but I was able to figure out the whole setup on my own. The remotes work great. They're not nearly as big as the pictures make them seem. Each remote requires two AAA batteries, and the units are only maybe 50% longer than the battery, if that gives you an idea of their size. My only complaint is that the remote receiver doesn't pass through the flash signal from the camera's hot shoe to the hot shoe on the remote receiver. The receiver has a plastic hot shoe fitting so it'll fit on top of the camera body for storage during use. However, the hot shoe fitting on the bottom of the receiver is structural only--there are no terminals to read the signal from the camera. So if you mount the flash head on top of the receiver, the flash doesn't work. Additionally, with the receiver mounted on top of the camera body, the built-in flash can't pop up properly. We solved this by mounting the flash head directly on top of the camera, and then clipping the remote receiver to the tripod below the camera body. It'll probably work fine just hanging from the GPS plug itself, but I didn't want to risk stressing the plug. The flash head is BRIGHT... If you turn it all the way up on manual mode, it'll blind everyone in the room even in broad daylight. The strobe setting is also neat... I haven't figured out how to take pictures using the strobe yet, but it's fun to play with. It also includes a lens cap holder, which comes in very handy. I don't know how to do it, but the directions indicate that both the flash and the remotes can be expanded with additional slave units later on. Very satisfied.

Very consistent flash with wireless options.. Work almost flawlessly with Nikon 7100
The flash works as it should in default mode. Just insert battery and insert into the hot shoe, and flash modecomes up to automatically use TTL by default. The exposure seems to be pretty consistent, but in very fewcircumstances there were bit of overexposure. The wireless connection and its operation is simple. Justplug in couple of AAA batteries to each of transmitter and the receiver. Select the selector switch to flash fromoff position, and you are good to go. I have no problem making the wireless connection from about 30 ft distance. The DIP switches are all set to identical position and works as expected. The only -1 star observation is that the user manual could be better, and more clear. Other than this, theflash have worked very well using the bounce, diffusers (both soft and hard), direct in the outdoor night, sunsetbackground, etc. The flash is pretty consistence with only minor over exposure (may be 1/2 stop). For anamateur who occasionally use the flash this is a very good flash for a very reasonable price.

Unbeatable value
I use this with a Nikon D90. I had been using a Nikon SB-600 for the last 10 years. I was nervous to try a flash not designed by my camera's manufacturer because I feared having to adjust the levels all the time. Boy was I wrong. This thing works far better than my SB-600 by a long shot. The TTL system in this works perfectly. It is so good I rarely need to adjust it.For the money this flash is an unbeatable value. I am genuinely surprised by how good this thing is. It is only a fraction of the price of Nikon made flashes but appears to have the same or more power. It is able to flash repeatedly when using rechargeable batteries with no delays. The wireless transmitter that comes with it is perfect for putting your flash on a light stand or tripod so as to reduce the weight of it on your camera.I also own a video light made by Neewer and this is also constructed fairly well considering its bargain price. Too bad Neewer doesn't make Nikon camera bodies.

Great flash for Nikon Digital Cameras
I always been a little leery of that much MASS (flash unit) being held in place just by the ‘hot shoe’ of the camera. My concern is with damage/breakage from being accidentally knocked. I am very please with the Neewer price point. I thought that Nikon wanted to much money for their flash and I wasn’t convince it was worth the $$$. In fact the reviews I read on the Nikon flash were that the batteries didn’t last and the length of time to recharge between flashes was too long. I didn’t experience either one of those two complaints with the Neewer flash.🤠

Yep worth getting
Well I got to say I was somewhat surprised. I know its cheap but I was hoping it would work ok. While Im still playing around with it I have found it really does work great, for me anyway. I have a lot of Neewer products and they all work pretty good. I have no problem recommending them and there products.
