Would it work on a dslr?

No! It only works on Sony mirrorless E-mount cameras. Sony's DSLRs and DSLTs (all now discontinued) all took an A-mount lens, and there is no adapter that would let a E-mount lens fit on an A-mount DSLR or DSLT.

Is this for asp-c only? ie not for the a7 series

It’s an APS-C lense, not full frame. However, I use it on my A7ii and a7Riii in crop mode. Works great, providing the same 24mm equivalent 36mm fov. It is a quality lense.

How does it perform on nonstabilized a6000 or a6300?

its a 1.4 so lets in a lot of light, alllowing you to use higher shutter speeds, as a wide angle i use it in daylight so never needed stabilisation. it is an amazingly sharp, accurate lens you will be happy, it is my favorite lens with a a6000
