This fan is a miniature jet engine!
This fan is loud! But when turned down the sound is bearable, while still pushing a lot of air. I currently have this monster cooling my GTX 970 and it keeps it at around 29ยฐc idle. Usual temps are around 35ยฐc. remember though, this fan is made for servers, but if you don't mind some noise, it will be and sound like a jet engine cooling your rig.

Great PC fan for emergency over-heating solution
Fan is great if you want to move a lot of air quickly. I use this for the extreme case where my PC for some reason just isn't cooling and / or something has gone wrong with the water-cooling loop. This fan will kick on and cool down the system until I can find the solution to why it over heated. I believe the blades and housing is metal, so the quality is very good.

Wow...
if your GPU mining in a enclosed case. This is the last fan you'll ever need. Yes it is extremely loud. But the airflow it moves is insane. Any and all future rigs I build, this will be the only fan. As I do not care about noise, just GPU temps. Although i could not get it to run off a molex adapter. I have 2 of them plugged into 2 4pin fan headers on my motherboard. I will do some research to get all 3 running from molex or even run 2 from 1 fan header. Otherwise it's a really good fan. I will update this review with any problems that occur.

PWM input is inverted.
This fan's PWM input is not like most. It is actually inverse from the normal PWM signal. ie. a PWM signal of 255 is actually the minimum, while a PWM signal of 1 is the maximum. Keep this in mind if you plan on using this fan for anything other than a project where you can control the exact PWM values. I tried to use this on an Antminer and it did not work for this reason.

Doesnโt function as described. Wire is only maybe 3inches long.
Hooked up turned on was able to control speed for roughly a minute. After that they just run on high all day. Even had the freak problem of it running after my pc was shut down. Wire is so short it makes the fans worthless without an extension wire. Either way donโt buy unless you want them to run on high all day everyday and if you really enjoy noise for no reason

Ridiculous CFM! Love it!
If you need serious cfm, this is it! Loud but they get the job done nicely!! Perfect for replacing the junk fans that come in 3 or 4u server chassis. I love these things!

this thing is amazing.
This is a really powerful fan. I upgraded the watercooler heatsink on my GPU with this thing. It isn't quiet, but when you just need to move some air, this thing is amazing.
