I've had my eye on this desk for a while, and gifting it to myself for my birthday turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made for my work-from-home setup. Assembly took me about 2.5 hours. I’m quite handy and have my own tool kit, so I managed it solo—but I’ll be honest, it’s not the easiest piece to put together, especially if you're not used to assembling furniture. The instructions are straightforward, and it comes with all the tools you need, except for a Philips screwdriver. The metal bar that anchors the frame is quite heavy, so I’d definitely recommend having someone help with that part if you can. For these reasons alone, I'd deduct half a star—but truly, the quality makes up for it. Once assembled, the desk is incredibly sturdy and well-balanced. I have a three-monitor setup and a laptop, and a few accessories on top, and everything feels solid with no wobble. The electric height adjustment works smoothly and quietly—no annoying motor sounds—and it remembers my preferred heights with the memory presets. I really like this desk. It took me about 3.5 hours to assemble it by myself, but that was me taking me time and not being in any rush to finish it. I did get a little confused because I got a seller message after purchase that said there was a "C2" part in the box that was only needed for the 71", and that it wasn't needed for the 59" size desk. There was no "C2" but there was a "C x 2" and I didn't use them at first, but then realized at the end that I did need them for stability and they fit the space so I added them on at the end. That probably made my assembly time a little longer than necessary. So if you get the 59" desk, you do need all of the parts that it comes with. I'm happy with the finished product, it looks great and I like the height preset options so you can just hit one button when you want to stand or sit, very easy to adjust. The motor is very quiet and smooth and I do not have any instability issues when it's raised to standing height. A lot of standing desks are very expensive but for this price it really is a great value. I'm looking forward to getting all of my office stuff set up on it. UPDATE SEPT 2026: I bought a 2nd desk for my husband since he liked mine. Since the last purchase they seem to have made some updates - including the instructions where I had the confusion with the extra part being needed/not needed. So it was much easier to assemble this time with the revised instructions and I was able to get it done within about an hour by myself. A great change that I appreciate.

First off, this desk is massive, in a good way. I had to upgrade my previous set up because the little baby cats I had adopted insisted on sleeping next to my keyboard, which I loved but became less and less feasible as they grew bigger lol. I needed something large enough to handle a four monitor streaming setup and four cats who love to sleep next to me while I work. This Acrolix 71" L-shaped desk is noticeably larger than most others I looked at, and the size alone has been a huge upgrade. Functionality-wise, it’s excellent. The electric lift works smoothly and quietly, though I’ll admit I rarely stand it up, it’s nice knowing the option is there. The movement is steady and doesn’t rattle anything on the desk, which makes it great when I’m filming content (I don’t have to worry about shaky setups). The L-shape also gives me a natural division between trading and filming areas, which has been really convenient. Assembly was straightforward. The instructions were clear enough and everything was labeled, it took time since it’s a large desk, but I had no major issues. Once set up, the desk feels solid with no wobble at all. Overall, this is one of the best purchases I’ve made for my home office!

The desk looks good, but only time will tell if it will last, as I was not fully convinced with the Wood material, especially as I assembled it on the Desk Frame and had to put in the screws. The instructions are also confusing in some sections, but common sense will let you finish the assembly. The motor that raises and lowers the desk feels a little slow by comparison to other standing desks I've seen, but it does its job correctly. And if you want to mount wheels on the desk then you will be pleasantly surprised, as you can remove the M8 thread levelling legs which it includes 5 of them, 2 for one side and 3 for the side the makes the L shape, and replace them with M8 thread wheels and you can make this desk movable, which is great especially at the price point that I found this desk for. I was also able to fit a VIVO under the desk keyboard tray, but be warned that you can only use one of those clamp versions of up to 28 inches (33 inches if you include the clamps), due to the weird shape that some of the corners that the desk has, but if you want to save up on space for the desk, one of those trays is extremely helpful. Since the desk can record up to 3 positions, I've set mine with #1 being for sitting on my chair, #2 being for standing, and #3 being for when I use the treadmill under the desk. I may update this review in a few months if I experience any issues with the desk.

I am VERY pleased with this desk; the height adjustment is fantastic and it meets all my needs. I work 10 hour days leashed to a headset at my desk and this is going to be a life saver for my physical wellbeing that has suffered tremendously over the last year. It's currently set at the perfect height for me to stand, and if I do need a break from standing I have a drafting chair that allows me to do so without having to re-adjust the desk. I did purchase a riser for my monitors so they would sit at eye level, which was important to me. Assembly was straightforward and I assembled it mby myself without issue (51 yr old lady). You do need a phillips head screwdriver, but if you dont have at least a phillips head and flat head screw driver you're unprepared for life. Side note: I had a SIGNIFICANT issue with *the carrier* delivering the item, but that had *nothing to do with the seller or Amazon*. They certainly went above and beyond to remedy the issue and I couldn't be happier with the customer service!! (If you're working for USPS and are unable to meet the physical requirements to deliver packages, then I'm sorry you should be seeking another position for employment. If USPS cannot meet the obligation of delivering a package then they should not accept the package for shipment. The lady behind the counter at the post office where I had to go to pick up the item was able to get the box from the back and put it on the counter, it wasn't light but one relatively able-bodied individual could manage it as was demonstrated both by her and then me. I'm looking at you USPS 😒)

Product was damaged and difficult to assemble. It was so much work just to unpack everything that I wasn't going to put it all back in the box to return it. Just to order another one and have the same thing happen. The directions were mostly pictures that you had to look at more than 3 times to understand what it was. I would like a refund for the damaged product they sold me. or at least a discount for the damaged product.

That said, clearer labeling on the hardware (especially screws) would have made assembly even smoother, and I’d recommend softening or sanding down the sharp corners for safety. I haven’t needed to contact support beyond the initial outreach, but knowing there’s a 2-year warranty and 24/7 support is reassuring. Overall, this is a well-designed, functional desk backed by a company that clearly cares about its users. Just a few minor QA and design tweaks would make it a perfect 5-star product.

I've been using it for about a week, and so far, the desk is better than expected. It's sturdy and will not break easily. It's very easy to understand, both building it and using it. This is my first time using a standing desk, and I think it was a great decision (it will help with back problems). The motor is not loud, and rises/lowers quickly. I have not tried out the memorized positions yet, but apparently it can remember 4 set positions. (it rises, lowers and rises quickly enough that I haven't felt the need to try this feature). Also, I saw a comment or two saying it took about an hour to put together, but I am not sure why it took them so long as it only took me about 20-30 minutes and was very easy to do. It also appears to be relatively simple to switch the L shape to both right or left without much trouble. I bought it when it was on sale, but to be honest it is worth the full price. Very satisfied. Items are usually close enough to their descriptions, but it is rare when one is actually better than it appears on Amazon. Given that it is so sturdy, it is also relatively heavy, so you may want to put it together where you plan on using it. (Might want to put some sliders under the legs, if you plan on moving it around much, especially if on carpet).
