These are fantastic! We laid them down between our backdoor and outside hot tub, making it much safer (and warmer!) to walk out with bare feet. As the snow melted and refroze as ice underneath, they did get stuck, but we just waited until the ice melted and pulled them up later. It is best to pull them up before snowstorms, but we have forgotten this a few times and just brushed them off. There has been no damage even with the constant refreezing. They still look brand new. One time we got an ice storm while they were out so we had to throw sand/salt on top and even that didn't damage them. I was surprised since people were saying they had to replace them each season, but I can see these lasting for years at this rate. I am so glad we got these instead of paying for costly heated mats!

Very pleased with these mats. Living in Colorado we got almost 8 inches of snow last week as I laid these down I was able to walk some 40 feet on concrete even after the snow had turned to ice. Being older I am afraid of falling on the ice and these work very well. They will adhere to the concrete if it is very icy but some come up with a little warmth. You can sweep the snow off of them and the ice doesn't stay on top making it ideal for walking. I'm happy.

I placed this on my sidewalk, so it wouldn’t be slippery. I live in northern Illinois, and we have had a lot of ice and then the snow came. These runners did nothing for our type of weather. They will be going in the garbage!

If you are placing these on a hill make sure you mount them somehow. these do slip if on a incline.I guess after I slipped I never had confidence in them, Infact i usually walked in deep snow coming down the hill because this is when i slipped. they did help my car get out of an icy driveway, but the wheels tore them up. I did get out though!!!

This product didn’t serve my purpose well at all. I wanted a non slip carpet to tac down on a steep wooded ramp. The product pulled away from the tacked down portion and slid off the ramp. It is intended to lay on top of snow and ice so it didn’t work for me at all.

These mats are great for ice covered gravel driveway this winter. 50’ walk house to garage & I toss 1out & carry the 2nd. Repeating process til safe to get inside. Can’t leave out or it will stick to ice. They are lightweight & store in small roll. Worth every penny as they create a secure walkway to my home.

They did the job. I have a dog who has had disk surgery and I didn't want to risk a slip or fall on our unpredictable icy sidewalks.. He usually has to go out immediately when he gets up so there isn't time to shovel and salt so I thought I would give these a try. They worked perfectly three of them allowed him access to his favorite areas "to go" without danger and protected my daughter also as she goes with him. We simply roll them out down the path til he is at a snowy area where it is not icy. They layed right on top of the snow or walkway. we roll them back up and keep themin a plastic tub by the door or put them in the bathtub if really wet. They got four stars because we had to put rocks on the ends to weight them down. A weighted edge on each end would be very helpful and would give them 5 stars. we have used them through the winter and they are good as new so I expect they will last many years.

I have an older dog who had trouble going down the steps. This caroet helps her not slip in the snow!
